Hey Peltz, thanks for your concern, but yea, that fire isn't even remotely near us, so we're good. That said, it's pretty insane. Like videos out of the apocalypse.

In contrast, we've been getting blasted by exceptionally cold weather. Last weak we hit into the ~18F range (that's about -6C). It's set to hit about the same this coming weekend, after getting as warm as in the 50F range (~10C). A few years ago it got this cold and stayed there for a few weeks and our whole electrical grid collapsed because it's run by a bunch of money-grubbing douche-holes. Since then they've put forth zero effort to improve its resiliency, so we're just happy that power still works.

Dang... I sound some real-life jaded. I really just need to move to Canada or Greenland or something.
