Hm I didn't want to go that far.
Let's say Pig likes to sneak at people's back.

Hehehe...Inqui and Derf are prolly scared now...and they should
Mm, since my opportunity to play the BG2 mp draws nearer (monday evening would be the first opprtunity), let's settle some things already. First and foremost, anyone who'd like to play, let's say BG2+ToB+latest patch ToB? We can also go BG2+latest BG2 patch if that'd be better.
Then make sure your cache and/or installation size supports BG mp, so best check your BG config thing.
Then; less technical, what class/kit are you planning?
I'll be a dwarven barbarian, chaotic evil (what a SURPRISE!! )
P.S. So..;we got BJ, Arathorn maybe, and who else is up?

I'm not. First I'll have to arrange BGII somewhere (or finally buy it), plus I'm in the middle of an exam period.

Too bad, but exams are a pain in the ass, so i understand. (not that anyone needs my understanding but blah )
BJ, i'll make a short list of the setup then, cos i'd prefer not to do it tru gamespy. It's still pretty easy tho, so it won't be a problem i think.
So:
-Start up BG (duh)
-Depending on what we'd be playing choose SOA or ToB
-Then MP (i know it's obvious so far, scuse me if i act like you're a 10-yr old or sumthing )
-Then choose "IP/TCP" as connection type
-Then "join game"
-There will be a screen asking for an IP-adress, which i will give you the moment we're at that point.
-Then the game should try and connect and hopefully succeed at it, to my PC and you'll enter the char creation screen
Anyways, we'll just make sure we're both on msn before we start, so we can go tru it together if necessary, and meet back at msn if the connecting goes difficultly, aye?
AS far as the evil thing...ofcourse evil...if not i'll bash you good, like i did with g's paladin hehehe...

I'm on holiday for the next 2 weeks, so anytime this coming week is ok - I'm away in the 2nd week. First try to get it going between you 2 though, as it's a bit difficult being a long distance (and quite a few timezones) away.

Uhu...i'd be cool to have you around as well (the more the merrier and not to mention the more "point of views" in the party:) ), but idd, we'll first try and make it work between us two. Bj, are you down(yea i talk the talk ) with say, 20.00 monday? (so 21.00 for me)

I'd rather not try until you 2 manage to get it working, due to the timezone differences. Once you guys get it going, I'll join in.

Hehe, Irenicus dungeon is one of the few things in life that i know by heart. Apart from my name, hometown, and housenumber and birthday date. On second thought, scratch those last two.

What about mods? Like the Ease-of-Use pack? Or the Item Upgrades? Or Item Packs?
Or *gasp* TDD?! (Which I currently have installed)
To get rid of Jon's Dungeon, we could all download the DBG mod.

Remind me Inqui, does the DBG mod give you he XP from Jonland? If not, then i'd prefer to actually play it. It's a good starting place when learning how to work in team, which is quite a pain in the ass in mp.
As for other mods...ease-of-use would be ok...but i'd rather not the item upgrades or packs, they tend to be vastly overpowered aye. TDD is a bit of a bore after a while, so i'd rather not do that either. God i'm a nag.
And all the other mod's that are fun are too hard to play in a mp game...lack of total control and all...ah well, ease of use it is, unless someone has other propositions.
