I plan on getting one once it becomes a real product. It's too cool. Though I also want a Motorola ACTV, which is similar in many ways, but more useful for running.

Not that I mind how you spend your money (obviously the product is more than funded already haha), but why not buy one now? The kickstarter price is below of what it's gonna end up costing in the stores when they launch.

Cool stuff: killer parasite fungi zombifying ants and then growing out of their heads. It's pretty creepy but also cool stuff. Especially the fact that worker ants will actually grab infected ants and dump them somewhere far away from the nest is interesting. It reminds me of an X-files episode (I know I'm ancient) where a similar fungus attacked humans.

err... 2 problems with this.

err.. what? The Army still doesn't allow women to serve in combat roles. Though I suppose everywhere is the front lines in Iraq and Afghanistan.

There is some irony that after years of (often justified) criticism of women's armor in computer games being like a metal bikini and totally unrealistic, the army is now making something like that.
