Mm, this reminds me of your dual healing efforts in GW. ;)

If that's gonna be the case...then I won't mind haha.

Mm...looking better and better. I don't get why all mmorpg fanboys seem to be all up in arms about how awful it looks or will be. Looks great to me.

Well Satis and Shiny, Tim of Ctrl+Alt+Del is planning to run a guild in TOR and it seems that he is doing it quite well and if you dont intend to join any specific one i think this might be one viable option. More details as they surface.

Quote:
So in that spirit, I went ahead and started up the pre-registration for the CAD guild. Kinetic will be a Galactic Republic guild in TOR.

I intend to lead Kinetic much the same way I ran ZeGuild for nearly two years, with the same philosophy and many of the same policies that made that guild so successful. With so much of TOR's specifics up in the air (PVP, raid sizes, etc), I can't implement a lot of policy just yet, but in ZeGuild we did a little bit of everything, from being top five in progression on our server, to having weekly PVP nights, and everything inbetween. That will be our goal with Kinetic as well.

we'll keep it as an option, certainly. Not sure if we're going republic though.

Just wanna say that I don't like CAD and Tim Buckley so I'll be opting for another guild if I do join. :P ;)

Hell we can just make our own subguild.

Well the member cap is at 500 and the CAD guild was already at something like 460 so I think by the time of launch its full. Wether you like Tim or CAD is not an issue here, a well run guild can be a huge difference in play quality. And he seems highly motivated to run it well.

Post Re: Star Wars: The Old Republic
Early access for SW:TOR pre-orders starts "up to" 5 days early. Apparently people will get early access gradually to keep the servers from falling over. :/ I can understand the reasoning, but if I got access on December 15th and Shiny got access on December 19th, that'd be pretty lame. Guess I just wouldn't be able to play until the 19th.

Still, looking forward to the game. :)

haha, yeah I can see how that would be a problem. I'll have a look into buying the game over here...not that I expect non-Americanos to have early access. :P

I love the assumption that you get in before Shiny, I'd pay to see the expression on your face when shiny lets you know that she got in earlier :D.

Quick! Free beta keys for all!

http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2011/11 ... /#comments

You'll have to register/sign in to RPS first tho, but that shouldn't be too much of a hurdle!

If everyone has a key we could even agree on a weekend to dive in ;)
