Re: Cool Stuff
It's kinda hard to tell what they're yelling because of the gruff machismo of it all.
Funny how this is pretty much the modern day equivalent of the Romans' (and others') war dogs. And like Peltz said, I think a lot of people are terrified of animals attacking and I think it's even pretty hard to properly hit something the size of a dog, given its speed.

Indeed. Plus shooting a police dog is the same as shooting a police officer (at least here). Well, because they are police officers. So if you shoot and kill a police dog, you're probably going to get the death penalty in Texas.

Lol wut. That's awesome. And hilarious.
Do they get a police funeral too?

Re: Cool Stuff
holy...
that's kind of cool and absurd at the same time. I wonder, are these dogs actually someone's dog? i.e. do they go home with the handlers or do they stay permanently on the base? Cause in the case of those assault dogs in the Belgian swat (I suppose) clips, yeah...I'm not sure I woudl very safe around those devils.

Re: Cool Stuff
I don't know. I know the dogs and handlers bond really close, but beyond that, beats me. I doubt they live together. I could totally see a police dog "defending" their handler against their kid or wife.

Re: Cool Stuff
I'd like to try that some time. Just the wing suit. Not buzzing some poor bastard like 6 feet above the ground. That's a bit more than I'm willing to handle.

I think that's a bit more than 6 billion people are willing to handle.

That was EPIC! I guess I'm one of the remaining .7billion that would be as close to the ground as possible

Re: Cool Stuff
man, if those two guys had collided, it would've been a mess of hair, blood and body parts. Still, to each their own... they made their choices. I'll stick to more mundane sports like snow boarding.

Re: Cool Stuff
Snow boarding actually carries a (relatively) high risk for paralysis iirc. Not that it should stop you from doing it of course, after all nothing is riskfree.
As for splattering...check this related vid on youtube
So yeah, 120 mph + concrete bridge: complete dismemberment and a cloud of blood. I think I'll stick to ground sports that don't go 154555 kph.

Yea, I watched that video too, right after the first one. I was being a bit facetious about the safe sport of snowboarding, though it is way safer that wing suiting or whatever.

Re: Cool Stuff
haha yeah. I think you gotta be a pretty massive adrenaline junkie before attempting that shit. Like, so much of a junkie that base jumping and extreme downhill mountainbiking doesn't do it anymore for you. Shit be crazy. Honestly, how many people who do a sport like that consistently for years on end can make it to the their 40th birthday without smashing almost every bone in their body?

Re: Cool Stuff
Guess it depends on how hard you push it. I mean, skiing double black diamonds isn't exactly safe, but people do it for decades without any problem. And then again, some people hit a blue slope and bust their head on a rock and die. Life's just screwed up like that. and of course, more people die from traffic accidents than damned near anything else.
