 The apocalypse cometh
4,000-5,000 black birds fell from the sky dead between new year's eve and new year's day. Cause of death is unknown. http://www.reuters.com/article/idUSTRE7010UO20110102

 Re: The apocalypse cometh
Hasn't this shit happened with frogs before? Wasn't the cause a hurricane or something that swept them into the sky and dropped them off later X km away?

 Re: The apocalypse cometh
he wears underpants when playing games? Damn, I'm usually stark naked, eating donuts and getting powdered sugar all over my... err... keyboard.
BTW, back to the story, that same night a bunch of tornadoes tore through those states, so it's possible they were killed by tornadoes or something. There's no physical trauma on the bodies, though... at least not on the ones that had been examined at the time of the story. On the other hand, it doesn't take much to scare a bird to death.
