Yea, I agree... If I were in mourning and someone showed up with a sign like that, I'd probably kill them. And chances are I'd get away with it... the benefits of a trial by jury.
Regarding nuttos, perhaps not the same type of nuts, but nuts are everywhere. The middle east is rife with people still living in the middle ages, while Europe has its fair share of ultra-right wing bizarros. *shrug* Whatever... I think allowing a few nuts to be idiots is an ok price to pay for freedom of speech. Restricting their speech quickly leads to that slippery slope.
Well there is "free speech" and "free speech". Calling on people to hate or kill gays, muslims, christians, redheads and whatever is in no way justifiable to me. I don't see how that can advance or benefit any enlightened society. It's another thing to imply and indirectly accuse such groups from being bad for society - it still sucks, but I wouldn't ban that.
Over here you can be sued for any overtly racist remark or holocaust denial etc. The facist parties have slogans like "the Islam is threatening to take over the cities" and "we need to make a clean sweep" which are quite clearly racist but aren't directly focusing on certain groups of people. They're not saying 'Morrocon immigrants are a cancer to our society', which would be punishable. So they walk a very tight cord spouting racist BS without actually saying anything inciting to violence or discrimination towards a group.
Other punishable offenses are of course refusing applicants or potential renters because of their skin color, origin or beliefs. That's the same in the US I'm sure. But it's usually very hard to prove if the other person just skirts around it without saying "IT'S BECAUSE YOU'RE BLACK". And only a retard would be that dumb.

Yes, we have non-discrimination laws like you mention, but similarly, it's really hard to prove. As long as you have some other way to justify it (credit check works, or income level), then you're safe.
This isn't funny.

That was a good way of putting the discussion back on track.

Did you notice what the cat looks like? It took me a minute to catch it. Then again, I'm sick, so maybe it's just me. Like, physically ill, not mentally. Well, maybe some of that too, but that's not what I was referring to.

Well the Hitler cat is a rather well known picture on the webs. The billboard... you'd almost think it's entirely photoshopped.

I'll never understand (teenage) girls. Justin Bieber makes a close escape from his insane fans...on a slow-ass Segway. Watch him commandeer the thing at around 0.25 and 'speed' to his bodyguards. But most of all, watch the ravenous insanity of the girls swarming down on him.
Wow. Shiny, Pev, or Suga...not that I suspect any of you to be or have been like this, but what is it that makes teenage girls go hysterical like this over pop stars and boybands? I will never understand.

I think it is a mob mentality thing. And no, I am not like that. Maybe Trent Reznor when he was young and thin.... haha. I honestly think part of the reason young girls get that way is because so many of our parents/society teaches us that we are supposed to be the virgin. We are not encouraged to be the whore or have any sexual releases at an age when hormones are going insane. Stupid double standard. Don't get me wrong I am not talking about emotional maturity here.
