This, in my opinion, is an example of people using DLC in a way that will make people hate the whole concept.

hah...yea, selling a virtual pet is horrible too. :roll:

Now, something I am ok with is having things you can earn in a game (harmless shit like pets) that you can also buy in a store for $$$. The shit happens anyway on ebay, so I don't mind the publisher getting the cash instead of some chinese gaming sweatshop. However, if you can buy shit to overpower yourself, or if the only way to get some "special" pet is via a store and additional $$$$... LAMEZ0r.
