They live in the same state iirc, but there's still 400 km between them or something. So no, not really, but distances in the US are quite relative compared to Belgium or Estonia I'm sure. :)

Yea, we're both in Texas, but I'm in the north and he's in the south east corner. Probably what, 8 hour drive? Definitely wouldn't consider that close.

nice... I got shipping notice with estimated delivery of Thursday too. We're like twins! :P Only I don't have the day off, and actually I have class that night, so I won't be able to actually do anything until Friday.

yea, I totally hear you on that. I'll have to leave it alone until after I get off work on Friday. Once that happens though, all the boxes are coming open, the beer will be filled up, and a night of caressing hot computer parts begins.

I think Shiny is going to be unhappy with me.

Probably but remember good strategy for keeping the chick happy while you ignore them is to get them something new to play with. Or something shiny. Even a good chick flick collection might work. Or ordering yummy food in or the promise of getting to go out somewhere fun soon. I could think of many things that would work.

I think you're looking at it the wrong way Shiny. It's not our job to keep you (as in, women) happy while we engage in important, solitary manhood rituals. It is your job to keep out of the way while we play with our toys and ride the testosterone wave. ;)

P.S. I am single. This is completely unrelated to my previous statement.

hah...actually, Shiny just knows to stay out of my hair, but bring me beer as appropriate. She's learned her place during my manhood rituals quite well.

Somehow I believe that your manhood rituals have been drasticly adapted to her feminine rituals. Her Queen of Hearts trumps your Jack every time :D.
