DMC/Super Mario Galaxy/Half Life 2 - never played, can't comment

Shadow of Colossus - hell yes.

Legend of Zelda - ok but not fantastic, not worthy of top 10

Resident Evil 4 - Not played but watched it played. Not bad, loved 5 which it's like but not worthy of top 10

Grand Theft Auto 3 - yeah good, best of them all without a doubt but prefer Saints Row. SR wouldn't exist without GTA though of course

Metroid - hate it

Halo - loved original but it was nothing special, and 2/3 are appalling

#1 Wow - wtf? NOTHING ABOUT THIS GAME IS FUCKING INNOVATIVE. Piece of crap, any other MMO could have been way higher than this. It's just EQ2 reskinned.

lol...either that is Pev's 1% there or she doesn't consider console shooters to be actual shooters, what with the auto aim and aim adjustment. Which I can agree with!

Halo 1 was a horrible shooter. The story was ok, but the mechanics and such were horrific. And the level design went from not so good in the beginning to downright ridiculously bad toward the end.

I got halo 3 when I bought my xbox360 (came with it) and I screwed around with it a bit... but overall it just sucked and I gave up after awhile.

Halo is only played because Steve bought his xbox when we were first together and it's the first game we played together (awwwww). We completed it multiple times. 2 and 3 however... ugh. Not even looked at ODST and *if* I consider Reach it will only be because I read the book it's based on.

Other than that the only other shooter I've spent any time on is CoD 2. I've dabbled with others (tutorial for Half Life, woo!) but never really bothered in general with them.

I wish I had a girlfriend who was interested in watching me play a shooter.

Haha, where did all this hate for my L4D2 skillz come from?! I have this theory that common spazz moments are now no longer considered to be worthy of mentioning as they happen all the time in L4D2 (what with the more frantic pace of the game and Realism mode), so we pick on poor old Ox and his one moment of extreme fucked-upness. :p

Remember when Derf incapped and killed both me and Satis in a spazz moment without any zombies around in L4D? REMEMBER THAT BITCHES!!?

I recall Derf's spazzed out murder fest very clearly. I also remember his multiple attemps at "recon" where he inevitably gets smokered or huntered to death. I think he may have finally realized that the best way to recon something is solo with bots on normal or advanced.
