oh, yea, delirium tremens, sure... that's basically withdrawal symptoms and you can technically get it on any substance that's addictive. I thought you mean delirium in a more general sense... because I've been delirious on more than one occasion.

vomiting blood? seriously? Goddamn man. I think the scariest thing I've done is coughed up black crap from smoking. Unless you consider eating ultra hot wings and then throwing up and crapping liquid fire afterward. That was pretty horrific.

Vomiting blood is pretty bad, I've never done that, but tremors I've had. And seeing triple.

Yeah i guess that when your stomach is bleeding (or liver? dunno) it's time to cut down on drinking. Slightly.

Yeesh you guys... lol.
I found out today why I was so drunk. I kinda had an idea anyway but still. Basically I'd eaten nothing since a pork sandwich at 11.30am and we didn't get pizza until about 10.30pm. By this time I'd had 3 or 4 single vodka and lemonades, which would get me tipsy anyway even if I'd eaten. Then after food I foolishly asked my mate Shane to get me a drink, which he ended up making a triple. I already knew this much.
Today I was informed that after the triple I asked him to pour me another and it was virtually straight vodka. In a tall glass as well. Not good. Having said that I must've already been wasted as I only ever drink weak drinks so to have that I must have been well past tasting it!

lol, what a guy. Not that I'm completely innocent of feeding large amount of alcohol to women at any opportunity. Then again, I'll feed alcohol to guys too, just for different reasons.

Rofl I think he was just using his own measures that he'd usually drink, no ulterior motives. Particularly as we were at our bosses house!

Still, I wouldn't underestimate a man's mind when it comes to that. Especially when he's drinking himself.
*likes to plant paranoid ideas in Pev's mind*
That does beg the question...isn't passing out at your boss' house kinda, well, BAD? I'm pretty sure it'd be the end of my professional career here.
And ROFLCOPTER @ J and Arathorn. Vomiting blood?! Jesus Christ. Worst I ever did on booze was passing out in a park and getting it on with wanton strangers. I salute you, sirs.

Well at least i never passed out. Or fell asleep in some random place. I've found friends when walking home from parties on the curb. Or in the middle of the road under their bicycle, too drunk to get up.
My troubles mostly start the next morning.

Heh, yeah, now that I get older it's the same for me.
Btw with this cold you often hear the same story: guy goes to a club, gets HAMMERED, stumbles out without a coat or jacket, then passes out on a lawn and freezes to death. Probably should avoid that.

lol, jeez. I won't say I haven't gotten crazy drunk... I certainly have. Though I've rarely done downright idiotic things. I usually save those for when I'm sober. lol @ freezing to death. Come freakin' on... that's got to be one of the oldest survival instincts in man... do not freeze to death. Oh well, people die for more stupid reasons, like the 'indian-on-a-train' guy.

Lol Ox, I'm immune at my workplace, I do too many favours for them plus my boss loves me coz I'm taking her to Nickelback in a week and my regional manager just loves me
Anyway with Shane he knows he only has to ask haha.
I'm usually the one looking after the drunks. I've had to steer Steve home a few times, look after a paranoid, throwing up colleague for over an hour and put people to bed all the time. I guess twice in 8 years I'm allowed to be the one looked after.

rofl not like that thank you.
Btw who has made resolutions and if so, what are they?
I haven't really made any as such, just trying not to waste money/stuff my face but I've been doing that for a while anyway.
