Yeah, nothing wrong with Jade Empire. I got it too - can't go wrong with a 3.5€ Bioware game that I never played because I was in Prague then. :P

King Arthur is supposed to be decent. The rest I'll agree on. No SH on sale for me either.

Recent steam buying history:

Jade Empire (ROW) (3.5 €)
King's Bounty: Armored Princess (10 €)
Serious Sam HD (RoW) (10 €)
Grand Theft Auto IV (EU) (7.5 € )
Dawn of War Platinum Edition (5 €)
Torchlight (7 €)
Bookworm Adventures Volume 2 (gift)
Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena (5 € or so)
Mirror's Edge (2.5 €)

Shitload of gaming for under 50€. :o

If i had the time (or could foresee some gaming time for the future) i'd probably go bananas with these sales. Got very tempted by the Witcher, but honestly i wouldn't know when to play it. Need to play DA: O obsessively now untill holidays are over.

for anyone that missed it, today's sales are:

Max Payne 1 & 2 for $2.50 each
FIFA manager 10 for $33.50 (some sort of soccer or squash game or something)
l4d for $7.50
Civ IV for $6.80
CoD World at War for $25 (still not worth it)
Osmos $2

*edit*
apparently you can get the max payne 1&2 bundle for $3.74. I've played both so it's pointless (still have the box for 2 on my shelf), but if anyone's feeling like some retro gaming, I loved both.

Great deals today...

Portal, Mass Effect and (the underrated) Trials 2 at insane prices, around 3.5€/£/$.

Doom complete pack is ok at 13 € but I wouldn't recommend it. Especially since most of us are old-school gamers and have long played the older Doom games. And Doom³.

What IS a superb deal if you like adventure games with gobs of humor is the Sam & Max complete pack. 15€ is nothing for what you get in return. Maybe something for Arathorn?

Crayon Physics Deluxe is on a "pay what you want" birthday sale. Which means you can pay a cent, a buck, or 10 or 100 € for it. Whatever you fancy.

http://www.crayonphysics.com/

It's a nice little game and worth, at the very least, a few bucks. Worth buying.

King's Bounty: The Legend and King's Bounty: Armored Princess are both on steam sale until tomorrow. Especially KB:TL is dirt cheap at 3.75 €...and it's an excellent game if you dig the genre. Recommended!

One of the most challenging and in-depth strategic games of 2009 is now on steam for cheap monies.

http://store.steampowered.com/sub/2373/

I'd buy the standalone expansion if it weren't for the fact that the original game tended to make my machine crash hard after playing for a while. :( It was just me and it's graphics card related, though, so don't let that stop you.

Haha, i lol'ed when I clicked the link.

MoW sure enough has a special place in my heart but i'm not sure it has sufficient polish to make it globally recommendable.

The expansion isn't as good as the original btw.

Yeah, I was talking about Men of War, small-time and very intricate war RTS that me, Peltz and Derf rather digged. It's a great game if you're into that stuff, and for 3-7 bucks you can't really go wrong. :)

lol @ craazy link. I clicked it. And it's not the same bitch, it's not my fault you can't see steam :P At work I can see everything but twitter, facebook and netlog. And who needs that shit anyway?

I have a facebook. I'm cool.

And I own MoW. Wasn't immensely impressed, though it was reasonably fun for a little bit.

Psychonauts, one of the funniest, smartest and incredibly well designed games in years is no on Steam for a laughable 1£/2€/1$.

If you don't have it, get it. You simply must.
