You can get courtmartialled for getting it on?! Dude, army's shit is weak. 
And I hear that on getting tense. I even get a little bloodthirsty spending 4-5 days almost completely with the same person (that I don't sleep with it). It's not their fault, I'm just a sociopath I guess. Used to be better, but now I can't stand people for too long anymore. Or loud noises.

Though I can understand... I'm not too fond of most people... but some people I can hang out with a lot. Even ones I'm not sleeping with.
re: the sex thing... you get in trouble for having sex with anyone you have a work relationship with. And if you could use rank (yours or theirs) for un-toward influence... ie, screwing an officer to get promotions faster. On the other hand, they could care less about sleeping with the locals, as long as you didn't bring them back to the barracks. And it was ok to sleep with air force chicks too, same rule about bringing them home.

+1 on generally getting bored with most company now. i guess at a certain age we care less for meeting new people... other than girls to bone

...this is probably not the place to say that I've turned out sex because I didn't feel like it on a couple of occasions (and sometimes because I am too thick to get the hint).
But yeah, girls usually are a motivation though. That and a select few friends (male or female).
