 Red Alert 3
Oxymongo, I found this on the mega cheap, so I guess we could think about a skirmish some time. Man, nuking is a PITA. Is there any way to defend yourself against that? It kinda fucks you up terminally.

Nuking? does it go by that name or something else?
We'll fire up RA some time today or tomorrow then.

It's basically nuking, but comes under different names like proton bombardment or some shit.

Oh yeah that's the one of the Allies' superweapons. Pretty frakking insane indeed. Love the soviet one tho, the Orbital Bombardment.

How do you prevent that? I've been skirmishing vs computer a few times and after anout 10 mins they unleash that onto my base and practically destroy it, thus ending my chances.

Just so everybody knows, me and Derf got raped HARD by the AI on a 2 vs 2 skirmish with the AI set to "normal" (easy-normal-hard-hardcore). We basically didn't even have a chance.
It left us dejected and beaten. We've decided we're not Korean and can't micromanage and rush build to a superweapon well, so we'll probably just do the campaign in co-op.

I always found in AI Skirmish you simply HAVE to turn super weapons off - because the AI always comes for you with them, even if it has 2 other choices of attack.

i didn't even see that there was an option to turn them off, so thanks for the heads-up. Might look into that and save my and Derf's brittle egoes.
