Anyway the first experience from the mp game was good. I bet the game gets a lot more punishing once the difficulty is cranked up.

aw man we just played a loooooooooooooong mission. failed it in the end. it seemed to go on fortever. it was ok though. maybe a bit too much of a meat grinder

indeed but we are so green at this game so no wonder. Once we get to know the maps better it'll go better. I had no idea from which side the enemy reinforments came or where we needed to attack next.

I think its also better not to play with public people. Not because they're noobs or anything but its a question of control. If i know Peltz or Ox is playing i know more or less what they're likely to do. With public people theres less chance of collaboration (looking out for eachother).

Besides, you get more men.

Hey! I dont like this banter thats going on about me being some kind of blue-on-blue specialist. Look, its happened only on 3 occasions so far. All for good reasons. Lag, people talking to me, legs that look like zombie legs.

I went for another mp round later. I noticed that some of the tanks the AI enemy has are immortal untill they cause a certain trigger event and then they can be bombed to hell.

I had three tanks firing at one enemy tank, it took like 20-25 hits and showed no sign of damage at all. so it moved closer after having destroyed 7 vehicles in total then the narrator said something and then it blew up, from machinegun damage. Pity.

yeah i had something like that in our last game. I had my pzr IV (with 75mm kwk, i think) hammer about 10 shots into the side of a Matilda medium tank, no damage. I moved closer another 20 or so meters, and 1 hit did the business.

May have been some kind of trigger like you say.

Hey Peltz, how did the mission go? I lost fucking connection again, which is weird because I played 2 hrs solid age of empires beforehand without dropping.

well the mission went just fine until the message "lost connection to server" appeared

I think its due to my weak wireless reception. I have an uber-antenna on top of my monitor, but 1 bar is all I manage.

I'd like a direct ethernet connection, but I don't know what it involves. Don't want it at the cost of having the house look like shit.
