Nope, pretty sure all that used to show up was "Double experience weekend this week!" or something. But either way it was good to see when I wasn't playing every day (or even every week). But that's the thing, what is the point in saving the GW homepage as a favourite, clicking to it blindly every day *just in case* there is an update, 90% of the time there wasn't but 10% of the time there is, when you can glance when you first start up your browser and with one click view the entire update? AND view updates for almost every other game you might play? Screw wasting 15 mins (or more) every day checking different sites just in case there was an update or a thread I was interested in.

Hehehe, well I got time to kill at work everyday so I don't mind surfing and F5'ing all day. Maybe I'll start using igoogle once I get a real job.
I feel like crap, hung over. Spent yesterday drinking from 17h till 6h, took the first bus home, fell asleep and missed my stop, waited 20 minutes for another bus back, walked home, couldn't get the door open, spent 10 minutes calling my bro outta bed, and FINALLY could go to sleep after drinking a bottle of water.
Just ate and took a bath, but the day is pretty much wasted already. Ah well. At least it was fun.

Shiny and I got totally wasted Thursday night. We were up till like 3am drinking, watching tv shows and otherwise entertaining ourselves. Made for a rough Friday, but it was worth it. Didn't do much yesterday... not sure I'll be doing much today. I'm just feeling eminently lazy.

Heh...sounds like fun. Ended up doing much of the same in my long weekend, that is, nothing at all. It took me two days to recover from Friday...I'm getting old.
Just heard the good news that my boss will be taking off 2-3 days this week, awesome. That means live streaming sports broadcasts, gaming and 2-3 hours of table tennis in the basement during working hours.

Wow, you're such a bastard. My job revolves around working my ass off because other people are lazy and incompetent. Meanwhile Shiny's been chilling at home due to illness. Not that I really envy her that much... but... yea, I think I'd rather be really sick than at work.

Hahaha, the moment you know you'd rather be miserable at home than healthy at work is the moment you realize you fucking hate your job.
I've been trying to get sick ALL WINTER so I could get a week off, but in the end I only was sick for one day. You should see the sick leave here though...some of my colleagues are sick for a week every two months or so. Well, "sick". I guess they have willing GP's.

Yeah but you know what is sad? Realising you're so bored with your 4 weeks off that you actually end up spending 4 hours at work...
Yes I did that today. Met up with a colleague in the morning where I live, then she said "Why don't you come to work and say hi to everyone?". So I thought sure, why not, just an hour then get the bus back... 4 hours later she's finished work and giving me a lift home. Oops. Still, was good to see everyone. I hate my work, not my colleagues.

heh...that's sad. You actually spent 4 hours at work not doing anything? I wouldn't come to my work on a dare if I was off. Hell no. Way more things to do.
What needs to happen is that my boss needs to get removed or moved aside and I need to be made manager. I'm practically doing all the work already. The raise and bonuses would be nice too.

Nah man, I think I'd rather be at work than how I feel right now. I have a hard time staying awake. It takes me like 2 hours to get dressed and showered just to go to the doctor. Only to have one of the many fevers break on the drive there to look like hell again.
I eat maybe once a day. I started eating a slice of an apple yesterday and stopped. Too much trouble. So I had 2 small tacos all day yesterday.
Today I tried to eat fruit and got sick immediately. Made some powdered based soup and it actually stayed down. I need to work on homework, but I am so damn tired. I would definitely rather be at work. And the look on the face of Satis when he asks did you do homework and I have to say no again /sigh. It is hell. Plus I am sure Satis is not getting any sleep. Odds are I will not be able to go back to work tomorrow either. So, basically I have no chance of any more vacation plans the rest of the year other than 2 days I am taking in May for New Orleans because now all my time is gone.

I'm gonna go to the town centre in about 10 minutes to go attend the start of a local cycling race. During hours. Ain't got shit to do anyway.
Shiny, sucks to hear about your holidays being nearly all spent. Can you take unpaid leave if necessary? The idea of being out of holidays in April is petrifying to me, tbh. Hope you get well soon (and get to do some housework ).
