Oh no, I just sat on my horse and watched. It was quite entertaining.

Lol actually I'd be interested to try horse meat. I just know how cruelly a lot of them are transported to the abattoir and refuse to be part of that. If there is some kind of guarantee though that their *entire* life was humane...

Ox don't be stupid, of course I didn't bring my pc, it's huge! lol. So I'm not really gaming at all. I'm on the DS, playing stuff like Maths Training (yeah I'm a geek, deal with it) and Rune Factory. DS is hardly hardcore gaming anyway, though I do have stuff like Final Fantasy on it, or New Zealand Story... last few days I've barely touched it though, I got addicted to the Twilight trilogy of books. On the final one now.

I'm gonna be home on Sunday so I should be able to get back into some more gaming though!

Briefly came home yesterday, for all of 25 minutes for a physio session. I was intending to stay home but my parents are doing their whole 'this is better for you' thing. Getting really fed up with it now, since my arm is 99% back to where it was before the op. I told them I'm coming home sunday (dont' have to be back at work til the 17th) and they keep saying "it'll be better if you stay here... but it's up to you". Yes, I know it is, I already told you I'm coming home sunday! *grrrrrrr*

Anyway enough ranting, physio seemed impressed, told me to start doing stuff like brush my hair and drink with my right hand... stuff I've been doing for a week. Think she's used to dealing with people who are going through their first fracture, and therefore are protective of themselves, whereas I have suffered no more pain from the op than I have with the arthritis so am used to dealing with it and tend to just get on and ignore it. Don't get me wrong, it's bloody painful, but I'm used to it. So see was a little surprised there.

Btw just in case, this stupid laptop of dads keeps signing me out so this might be posted as Guest... hehe

Glad you are getting better Pev! And I know how parents can be. They try to be supportive and protective and by time you are with them for a couple of hours you just want to scream. Well maybe that is just me, but again glad you are getting back to normal. I am still keeping my fingers crossed that everything turns out in the best possible way.

I try to avoid family, especially if I'm sick or whatever. I'm too independent to be smothered like they try to do. Anyway, glad you're doing well. Hope you're permanently fixed, as it were. If not, you can always opt for a robotic arm.

Is it wrong that as soon as I saw that arm, I wondered if it would improve my gaming? ;)

Anyway just a quick update, am back in Walsall now. Got in an argument with my parents coz while they annoy me to live with, I hate to leave them, so I was a little crabby and then they started nagging at me about stuff so y'know. Then got upset when they left *sigh*

Awh...did you talk to them already since?

Spending time with at the parents' home can be unbearable and great at the same time yeah, so I understand. Just don't let it evolve into anything major. :)

Aww thanks Shiny :)

Still doing good. Had my physio last Thursday, she seemed quite pleased with it and I have to go back in 3 weeks, plus I'm back to work as of Sunday. She however was a little worried over the fact I lose feeling in my hand while asleep which of course wakes me up. I do get it back really quickly if I flex my fingers but still, not good. Used to happen a little beforehand but not so much and she felt my hands and said it felt colder than the other one, so mention it to my consultant.

Had the consultant appointment on the Friday so mentioned it, he didn't even look at my hand or touch it and just said 'Its probably the swelling'. Really wasn't impressed with him at all, he was just rushing people out as quickly as possible. I did get to see photos taken inside my elbow though, but like with an xray he was kinda going "you see this bit here? This is what we shaved off" and I was thinking it all just looked the same, but hey!

Still going back to work should be fun, simply because I still can't do a lot of stuff there. Repetitive actions still make my arm hurt after a while and I can't lift heavy stuff like 360s and PS3s so I'll pretty much get to stand around and just use the till whilst avoiding the hardware sales.
