no. haven't had horse or kangaroo yet. Though I've had buffalo. Thinking about going down to this burger joint that serves Ostrich burgers.

Ah yes, UK-bashing, always fun. I apologise if this has been on here already, but here goes: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/artic ... -work.html

sweet monkey jesus. Crap like that makes me sick. BTW, I had to look up 'bacon butties' and how much a 'stone' is. Is this kind of thing common in the UK?

Oh yeah, they commonly weigh themselves in the crude 'system' of stones. Which probably explains why a good few of them are so fat, because when you weigh in stones an extra stone is just "one" extra stone. In kilos or pounds, it's a LOT.
Reminds me of a grandpa Simpson quote
"The metric system is the tool of the devil! My car gets 40 rods to the hogshead and that's the way I likes it."

heh...I didn't mean if the use of antiquated and outmoded units of measurement was common. Rather that fat asses sit around taking government handouts and bemoaning their cruel fate is.
I haz bacon butty and /chips/ crisps!

Yup, that sort of thing is what I hate.
Fat, lazy mother fuckers who take my god damn taxes just to make their asses even fatter.
FUCK.
Sorry, this sort of shit makes me mad, these lazy fuckers should live in a hostel, not in a house. If they're not working for money, they should be working for their keep.
Fuckers.

lol, I agree. The fact it's my money that they're crying about not getting enough of is what makes me irritable. Don't worry, every country has them. Almost makes you wish for a zombie apocalypse, doesn't it?

lol Peltz...fat zombie = BOOMER! And we don't need too much of those when the zombie apocalypse comes. Not if you don't want me to FF you in the back every 5 minutes, that is. Damn bile blinding my eyes...
And yeah, it's a bitch but no need to get worked up over it. It's not like any of us is gonna have a direct chance to change any of that, either at a policy level or a genocidal level. Best thing to do is to just feel better than them, and ignore the fact that they exist. Until they block your way to the subway with their slow and massive body of course, then you just can go apeshit and push them down the stairs.

Lol yeah don't get me or Mole started on a fat rant. *mutters about them getting free health services for fat-caused illnesses while I have to pay for my glasses, without which I can't see more than 5 cm*
Anyhoo no 1 stone is not just a little, coz we tend to get on the scales and go zomg I put on 2 pounds! *cry* Unless you're already a fat fuck, then it makes no difference
And yes, my arm was basically caused by falling off a horse when I was 10. Horse didn't want to jump so I did it on my own. Broke and dislocated my elbow, was made to ride for another 40 mins AND attempt to untack the horse before the mother of the owner noticed anything wrong. Long story short, whilst it was corrected I lost some movement due to where they had to reattach the muscle after removing some temporary pins, plus I developed arthritis due to the injury itself, which manifested when I was 17. Was hurting even more than normal last winter so went to the doctor, sent me to specialist, turns out not only do I have arthritis but somehow (due to the arthritis rather than the actual accident I assume) my bone is deformed so going through the easy option to hopefully correct it atm. If it doesn't work the hard option involves wedges of bone
I'm almost back to how my arm was a week ago now, which doesn't sound a lot since before my op it was pretty crap as arms go but it's a big deal to me. Had the bandage off since Thursday, changed the dressings Friday (one was rather bloody hehe) and gonna change them again tomorrow though seems there has been no more bleeding. It's not quite back to normal; I struggle with too much weight/resistance though I'm now able to carry a glass of water (a short distance at least) and eat with my right hand again, hooray! But rapid movements or prolonged/too much weight cause pain inside the joint because it will of course still be quite swollen in there. Had some impressive bruises when I took my dressings off which I got pics of!
Got physio on Wed and after that will *probably* be staying at home alone (well with Mole, but no parents I hope) so should be back after that. Depends though, I may come back up to Yorkshire until the weekend but ONLY if I'm off work until my next appointment (which is 17th april, ages away!)
sorry for the huge block of text again, for those who don't wanna read it, the
TL:DR version - am doing fine. horse hurt arm. still gaming.

All I got to say is stupid horse tried to take me off a cliff this weekend! Damn horse, then again maybe it was the horse telling me to get off and walk my fat ass back. /sigh. Oh well, made it without falling off but was very stressed for a bit.

I agree wholeheartedly with what J said
Pev, thanks for the update! I'm excited about the coming weeks, just about now (well near future now) you should start to feel if the pain is lessening or not, right? Keeping my fingers crossed for you. And in the mean time, have fun gaming up in Driff. What games are you playing there anyway? Did you bring your pc?
Shiny, a horse wanted to throw you off a cliff? Did Satis save you in rodeo-style? Hi-ho silver! Giddyup boy! *Texan accent*
