predetermined routes and you can stop them and take a ride (if there is room for you). You pay a

Yeah, I think the basic stuff like food on Balkans is most expensive exactly in Serbia. Our anti-Sr government goes far enough to make
our own products more expensive in Serbia than in Bosnia, Croatia or Slovenia. Needles is to mention that in Serbia food is more expensive than in Germany, in general (I can't speak for the most expensive cities), while the incomes are multiple times lower.
Still we don't have as fucked up city transport as Bulgrians. At home I can always take pedestrian way if I don't like the bus. But buses are pretty luring, for there is a sitting place in most of cases.

Also, there is no long waitings, although people are not conscious of how lucky they are. I remember guys getting nervous after they spent 20 mins waiting. Hehe, in Bulgaria that's called a predictable/short wait.
