Post Dungeon Keeper license being whored out?
Sure looks that way

NetDragon Websoft Inc., a leading game developer and operator in the People's Republic of Chin, announced a new licensing agreement with Electronic Arts Inc. on the development of the Group's first 3D massively multi-player online role playing game (MMORPG) based on Electronic Arts' "Dungeon KeeperTM" line of games - including themes, characters and other game content. As part of this agreement, NetDragon will develop the game and obtains the exclusive license to operate and distribute Dungeon Keeper Online throughout the Greater China region, including Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau.

lol. That's the EA we all know and love. :)

Feel kinda sad for the Dk license though...sure had a lot of fun with it. DK1 was a gem of a game. I remember I had to upgrade my Pentium 75 from 8 to 32MB RAM because the game would crash at higher levels with a lack of memory. *pats his 4 gig of RAM*

heh...yea.... Dungeon Keeper was a great deal of fun. I don't think I ever completed it...the later levels were too damned hard. I'm sure these no-name Chinese developers will turn it into crap. Oh well, EA strikes again.

Ok, the final levels weren't easy, but not insanely hard either. :P And sometimes you needed to take control of a creatures to properly beat a level...DK rox0rs. I loved how you had to keep the reaper seperated from the other creatures because he was a homocidal maniac who went cuckoo at the drop of a hat. Or how some creatures simply didn't get along.

Bastard horned reaper was often more trouble than he was worth. Even if you made him a private room with food, training facilities and bed and locked the door he'd sometimes broke out and started killing your other minions. The fact that I used to slap his ass around for not listening probably didn't help. :)

He sure knew how to fight, but you pretty much had to let him go at it alone every time...before you knew it he would be teamkilling.

No matter. It's dead now. Yay for EA's Chinese gold farmers (REAL gold farmers).
