I'm so glad I don't understand any of that sentence. :P

Heard this on the radio earlier today and my wife didn't know it. Which surprised me, so any of you knows this song (just heard it i mean)? I like it very much, although it's ... kinda weird. Almost psychedelic maybe.

On a less camp/loud note, check out 65 Days of Static with Radio Protector. Haunting song. It's an instrumental band btw, so don't expect any singing :P

hmmm...ok, you have a bizarre taste in music. Though I actually like this one. Most of the stuff you post is euro-pop trash. :P

Conversely, I suppose most of what I post is evil satanic trash. Gwar is next on December 4th.

Gwar isn't so much evil or satanic as just...fun. In their own way, they don't take themselves nearly as serious as other bands do (especially in the genre).

As for my music taste, it's eclectic to say the least. :P I have anything on my MP3/in my CD collection, ranging from complete bubblegum pop to punk to eurodisco to militant rap to speed metal to singer-songwriter to indie to balkan-techno to cabaret to classic to lounge and so forth...only really buy full CD's from a select few artists, though. And often only years after they've been released because 20 bucks for a CD is just too much.

As a testament to my occasional shameless indulgence in pop music: Katy Perry with Hot n' Cold

Don't worry...it doesn't happen too often that I get these pop spasms :P

*sings the song refrain*

Shiny and I saw Ohgr yesterday in a fairly small venue. It was totally freakin' awesome. What wasn't so awesome is that we didn't get home until 2am, so I'm cruising on less than 4 hours of sleep today. However, it was totally worth it.

Here's a phone video. Obviously the quality is terrible.

man that video is the lousiest quality evah! ;) Nah, it's ok for a phone video, thanks...nothing like some bootlegged music!

These guys are awesome, they play acoustic guitar as a duo...used to be metalheads, play some metal covers too. But these songs are their own: Rodrigo y Gabriela!

Yea, they're not too bad. :p

How about Apocalyptica? Cellos/violins doing Metallica covers.

Hehehe, Apolyptica are awesome

They are a testament to Metallica's awesomeness. Well, pre-'load' Metallica. When they were still drunk and heavy.

They made some good stuff later on, but nothing like their early work...don't get me started on St-Anger.

Metallica died during their black album. Everything after was created by some drugged out zombie hookers or something. It's sad... I used to be a huge Metallica fan. Now, they could come out with the best album of all time and I don't know if I would even listen to it.

lol. Well, there were some ok songs...but you probably meant in comparison with their earlier songs. :P In that case their later work is utter crap yeah.

Yea, I dunno... basically the black album came out and I was cool with it, though I preferred some of the previous albums (Master of Puppets ftw). Then there was Load...which was a steaming load of crap... then a whole lot of nothing... then they decided to get all retarded about p2p. Then St. Anger. And that was about all she wrote. I don't know if there were any decent songs since the black album... as far as I'm concerned, there weren't. :P

Their cover of whisky in the jar was ok :P But then that's probably because it's a cover.
