heh...I only ever saw one of them, this one. I guess it says something about how big this game is if after so many hours I haven't met more than one. :P this one was at the factory btw.

Peltz, did you finish the MQ yet? Just wondering, cause you don't seem to mention it a lot. And Satis, isn't playing melee/unarmed a complete bitch at 'hard'? I mean, seriously, at level 15-20 I was struggling at time. Those Masters suck up SO much damage and deal out a lot too. Enclave troopers are a joke compared to them (mostly because they tend to die with just one grenade blast, as compared to the 4-5 a Master needs).

regardless, i like the 'field stations' of the Enclave with their mind-controlled death claws, makeshift watchposts and crates of energy cells. ;) I even found one that had a computer terminal with 'experimental' data on...alas, my science skill was and is too low on this char. :( Did you guys ever hack one of those?

Finding a lot of bobbleheads lately...probably because i'm fast going from one place to the other with the entire map revealed now. :)

Nah, i havent had much time to play, trying to graduate from uni, Dec 2nd im defending my thesis.

As for the MQ, well i know where im supposed to go, after fixing the antenna. But im not sure if theres supposed to be such a gap in the main story. What i mean is that once i fixed the dish, i didnt get any clues or anything where to go, but i already accidentally found the place where im supposed to go.

haha... I haven't been playing too heavily. I started a new game of FC2 but kinda lack the motivation the play it... even though it's a great game, its limitations are much more glaring the second time through.

I'm still playing F3 occasionally... Unarmed/melee is a bitch, but I'm not very high level yet. Heavy weapons is also in my specs... I'm thinking I should forget about melee and just do unarmed/heavy until I max them. I still need to find a vacuum cleaner before I can build my rock-it launcher, though I did get the workbench and medical thing for my room. Having a medical station is so incredibly helpful.

What does it do, specifically? Cause if it just heals you you could just hit the sack instead, right? I liked the lab set, because it allowed me to get rid of my addictions easily without having to run to the doctor every time. Well, not that he's far away in Tenpenny tower but still. :P

Rock-it-launcher is hawt, but you gotta pretty much scavenge for a lot of random junk to fire with all the time. I do that pretty much non-stop anyway, so i never really minded...you should see the collection of junk in my apartment.

And well, there just isn't a lot that's cooler than watching a teddy bear tear someone's head off :P

It can heal, remove rads and heal limbs.

yup, it does those things well. The rad healing is the thing I really like. Healing and limbs you can just sleep on.

I picked up the remaining things I need for that launcher, but currently I'm running around some zombie-infested building west of Tenpenny. I forget the name but it's cool... I'm picking up audio logs of some guy that's tracking his father and some book.

Neat, so no more need for radaway. I never knew that. :) I'm hesistant to change my Tenpenny suite to a "theme", too...because I kinda like it the way it is, with plenty of space and a few benches and tables. I'm minimalistic like that. :P

Satis, isn't the place you mentioned called "Dunwich building" or some such? Not sure.

I wish there were more glowing ones in F3. I like how they look. Not such a big fan of their radiation pwnage, tho. :)

Yea, dunwich building, that was it. I've since wiped that place clean... neat story, though it kinda just ended a bit anticlimactically. It was never even a quest, just following these audio logs and going deeper into the building.

I'm now in the nuka-cola plant. The game seems to have issues with the nuka-cola water and me shooting Rock-It objects into it. It's crashed numerous times as a result. But an, that weapon is awesome. I haul around a huge bunch of crap (mostly tin cans) to shoot out of it.

I'm starting to think I may need to reroll my character. Hard really is difficult, and I made the mistake of making unarmed and melee both tag skills. Still, I think I'll tough it out and see if I can fix my skill point issues. Having an average intelligence (thus reducing skill points per level) doesn't help.

Well as i understand, tag skills only give +15skillpoints to the skill, well atleast thats what the level 15ish perk Tag! does.

yeah, they don't give you X2 skill points factor like in F1 and 2. Either way, for a character that's not vey intelligent it's pretty essential to choose them wisely. I found that out the hard way when playing my new, dumber char. I used intense training to put 2 extra points in INT and then found the bobblehead...that made a huge difference.

I guess we're kinda spoiled for choosing a character with super INT first, because they have so many skillpoints you can easily max out 6 skills or so. Kinda overpowered.

My char has:

100 Science
100 Small G
100 Sneak
98 Speech
94 Repair
91 Energy
96 Explosive
90 Lockpick

I forgot medical but it should be near 90 also

My point exactly :)

Did you pick the swift learner perk too? 10 INT and 3 ranks in Swift learner and you can spend skillpoints like crazy!

Yea, I restarted my character. My last chick had an int of 3 so I was level 6 and only had about 25 points in heavy weapons, with 50+ in both melee and unarmed. There's no way I could've recoverd from that.

My new character isn't quite as stupid. Tag skills are heavy weapons, lockpicking and repair. My 10 strength has boosted up my melee/unarmed anyway... I figure I'll concentrate on unarmed since there's a park to boost its damage.

Slightly disappointed at the mod making the BoS 'joinable' coming out at DLC. That could easily have been part of the original game. Same with the Slavers...they seem to be more of a loose affiliation in F3 than an actual organization in F 1 & 2, but still. Making the decision of becoming a (rich) slaver was a pretty tough one, even if it was just for the tattoo. Joining the Slavers' Guild required you to tattoo their mark on your face, making it directly visible for all NPC's what you are. You can imagine most NPC's aren't feeling too hawt about talking to a slaving scumbag. :P But it also gained you respect and awe with other. Neat.

Erh..anyway...The Pitt sounds fun, after all those stories I heard about it in-game. Indifferent about Anchorage. :)

EDIT: Satis, maybe something for you? don't bother with Tactics, though. :P
