Batman lawful good? I dunno...I think he's more chaotic good. His relationship with law enforcement (police) is troubled, wouldn't you agree?
I think he only obeys the laws as long as they fit his purposes. He's more of a vigilante than a policeman.
But I think we can all agree on the Joker being CE

Erm, sure you got me. No LG on second thought. I was leading myself with the fact he didn't kill anybody, not even joker - in this movie he prefers that the law handle the villain. And again, while the methods he uses (being in position to spy the whole city via cellphones) can be put in question, his intention (to help all those people and maintain the order) are not. You have it, closer to CG, if the law is to be followed by letter. But see, today's law is far from being surrounded by LG aura either. Not following it step-by-step doesn't mean not being LG. Just give it a thought.
A "destroyer" in its pure form.

The joker's insanity in the latest Batman was awesome. Purely antisocial, antisocietal crazy man that wants to watch it all burn. And not at all afraid of being killed in the process. It was a really great job of acting imo. Too bad he's dead (IRL). I'm curious what the next Batman movie will have in store? Maybe a penguin?

Heh...after this joker, any opponent would be something of a letdown, I'm afraid. But if they can keep the level of Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, I'm definitely going to see it.
How about they resurrect two-face in some way or another? I mean, he's seen falling down the ramp and lying there but nobody says he's dead or anything. Wouldn't be the first time Hollywood pulled that shit!
I like Aaron Eckhart, so a two-face movie would be kewl. Lots of moral ambiguity. He could be a Batman Irenicus.

Oh yea, there's no way that two face is really dead. He went out too quickly and too much like a punk. But then that would kinda invalidate the ending of this movie.... with two face running around jacking stuff up, the bat wouldn't need to take a fall and he could kiss and make up with the police chief guy.
Blah, whatever, too much drama. I'm looking forward to Wolverine origins. That should have plenty of good old-fashioned American-style murdering.

Watchmen will pwn Wolverine, but I'm excited about the latter regardless. Of all the X-men, Wolverine definitely kicks the most ass. I like quite a few other characters from the X-men universe though..the Juggernaut, Mr. Sinister. And Rogue.
Erh...I'm not a geek. Really.
Saw The Black Dahlia yesterday, picked it up cheap at a movie store the week before...great movie. Not for every time and mood, but once you slide into the whole "feel" it's pretty enthralling.

hmmm.... we may have to check it out. We watched a few movies recently. Pardon if some have been mentioned previously.
The Forbidden Kingdom : It was ok. Like a cross between a Jackie Chan movie and the first Karate Kid.
The Fall: This movie was pretty messed up. I recommend anyone see it, at least once. Some very artistic camerawork and a pretty engrossing narrative, imo.

lol, yea, I didn't say it was a good movie. But if you like to see white kids teaming up with Jet Li and Jackie Chan to kick peoples' asses, this is probably the right movie for you.

I saw Mission impossible 3 yesterday. Its alot better than the previous but not as good as the first one, too much bimbo drama and way too short "spy stuff" scenes.
At times i felt like they were clueless as how to take the story forward untill Bob from the back row said, "i have an idea, lets blow up a lamborghini."
I really liked Vanilla Sky though, that one was really good from Toms repertoire.

oh man, I didn't like a single Mission Impossible movie, not even the first one. Not that I'm dissing Tom Cruise (other than for being a religious nutjob). He's been in some really great movies.
Eyes Wide Shut comes to mind.

And
Born on the 4th of July
Minority Report
Collateral
The last samurai
magnolia
Tropic thunder
etc.
His choice of movies seems to improve markedly over the years, too.

Collateral is decent but kind of too slow for me. I get bored. Through I found something that might make your evening. In the first minutes it looks like kind of junk but soon it a gets very decent comedy:

I dunno..;I try to avoid them Hollywood comedies a bit. But a lot of people told me it's pretty good, people who aren't quite morons too (that includes you Gfree ), so I might just take a peek soon.
