I picked up this game for 5 euros so I could play it on my laptop, and did I enjoy this baby...what a great game. A little bit dated on the graphics part but so much fun!

Brutal combat, great design on the races, a good storyline and well-balanced factions. It was kinda easy on 'normal', but that's pretty much the only complaint I have.

Anyone else played it?

Yeah, I have. Good fun indeed. A was recently playing one of its expansion packs too.

Haha, nah, only finished the SP campaign so far. So only Space Marines. But from what I gather they're somewhat similar to chaos (as they are corrupted space marines).

I think the Orks would fit my playing style more, tbh. SWARMMMMM!!

Lol, Orks blow goats. Theyre easy to play against, so i guessed they'd be crap to play as. But never tried.

Space Marines are the shizzle. Dreadnoughts and Terminators all the way.

Although, I think the best unit in the entire game belongs to the Eldar. The Fire Prism is just goddamn amazing, in packs of three they pwn.

But the eldar are such goddamn pussies outside of their ultra heavy gear. After playing with orks for a while, I agree that they sux0r. It's not that their units are all that bad, but they've got a weird resource system (you need X amount population to build building Y, eg) and are just too weak at the beginning and lack proper defensive buildings. But they do have that HUUUGE animal dinosaur monster, Squiggoth or such. Neato.

Oh and I summoned the demon thing with Chaos. That thing can wipe a base on its own! Pure pwnage. Although coolest unit in game remains the dreadnought, yeah.
