Yeah, the release date is Q4 2008. So, early 2009 is a good target date. :)

The DNF hands-on was actually pretty cool. "Come on guys, seriously, what the f*ck took so long?"

"Well, there was the coke and all the hookers of course...and we needed to get out characters to lvl 70 too."

Heheh...that's only with Elder Scrolls titles at Bethesda. All the other stuff they're not too bothered with doing half-assed. :P

Just a quick poll: is anyone here thinking about pre-ordering Fallout 3? Some of the pre-oder stuff looks pretty sweet...a vault-tec radio clock, a pip boy figurine etc. :)

radio clock? I didn't see that. Looks like a lunch box, bobble head... nothing too exciting to me. I've got enough crap in my house without adding more to it. I still don't know where to put my limited edition NiN ghosts swag.

The main quest is about 25hours of gameplay, with sidequests its boosted to nearly 100hours, give or take some.

You can play the entire game as VATS or real time shooter. It has 3rd and 1st person views.

The release date is still planned for Fall 2008.

Dude, even if it didn't looked hawt you should have picked it up. Just for old time's sake. :P You and your damn army gaming hiatus.

Guys in the video sure are a bunch of lamers though. Not the worst I've seen by a long shot, but they're talking as if they're presenting the NBC late night news.

Well, in the US I can build a decent gaming PC for $600, assuming you don't need a new monitor.

Of course, that's the US. With all your crazy euro markups, £600 probably isn't too far off.

Yeah, a great gaming pc (not THE newest of the new but the sensibly new) without a screen goes for about 800 euros here. So I guess 600 quid is a good estimation. :)
