Actually, the chicks in MMOs tend to look cooler. The guys are almost always really lame looking.

They should let female artists design male and male artist design female characters. But i guess then all male characters would look totally gay.

Yea, half would be metrosexual while the other half look like Mad Max.

Of course, Mad Max wouldn't be bad. It's better than them all looking like variations on Dragon Ball Z.

It's an interesting article on the gender thing. I think Pev once mentioned that she got harassed a lot less if people didn't know she was female in an MMORPG, care to confirm that Pev?

I usually only always play male characters, as you may have noticed. But then I'm not a hardcore MMORPG gamer wanting lootz etc etc. I do ocassionally create a female character but that's only because they just 'fit' better. Like my necro in GW - way cooler than any male necro models. ALl my other GW chars are male though.

In singleplayer, I always make a male character as my 'first' character. When replaying I sometimes make a female one to see how it's different from the male one. In some games it doesn't matter at all, in others (Fallout, Arcanum) a great friggin deal.

Honestly, when people find out you are a "Real" chick - you tend to get hit on a lot. I still usually play female characters, but that is because it would seem odd to me to run up and hug someone as a male. I am just a chicky type of girl. Although, I am not always the most ladylike

imo, usually the chicks look cooler than the male characters. Or maybe it's because Anime dudes look totally gay while female ones just look hot. I'd rather play a hot chick than a gay guy. Or maybe I secretly want a vagina.
