Finished the demo for the first time, will try hardest difficulty next. I try to avoid the speedboats btw.
Did you toy around with the editor yet? (if you can't find it, it's in the sandbox map).

seems like a good tutorial, i generally suck at these things, might be more easy to understand for you

I opened it and checked it out. But I haven't really done anything with it. Mapping usually takes a pretty serious investment of time and I'm pretty lazy. Thanks for the tut link though.

There are some maps on the net already, made by fans like this one: frozen island
I tried it out for a bit, you can use some new weapons (sniper scope woohoo) and vehicles. Haven't played really far and i'm going to finish the regular demo on hardest difficulty first.
Q: do you use iron sight or reflex to take out your enemies?

I always use the reflex sight. Though using pistols can be a lot of fun.
I'll need to check out the maps. That's great. I did go over that tut and mapping's not insanely difficult. I haven't put in the time to really figure it out, though. We'll have to see.

Well, I beat Crysis. Great game. The graphics are phenomenal. But the ending...well...the ending sucked. Like bad. I guess it's part 1 of 3, but basically I was just getting into the game and suddenly the credits starting rolling. It was such a big let down. However, the game was really well done. I'd still recommend it. I want to try out the multiplayer next, it looks very promising.

Anyone else finished Crysis apart from Satsi? I read the reviews; saw the trailers and heard the stories from friends and well, the general consensus was "redefines FPS genre and it will be some time before anything tops these graphics". Makes me want to loan 2000 euros of a local mafia boss and build a monster pc for in Prague.
Unfortunately, I let the head rule the heart. Sometimes.

There's a lot more to the game then what's shown in the demo. Driving tanks, flying aircraft, all kinds of stuff. Ah well, I won't convince anyone. At least grab a copy when it goes in the discount game section.
