More and more rumors coming on KOTOR MMO

Personally i hate the idea. KOTORS were so good games they shouldnt be devalued by the MMO genre.

Pity

blah. I'd rather have an MMO set in the "modern" star wars uniform. After the movies would be best, that way you're not too heavily limited by the known lore but you can make plenty of references to it.

KOTOR is ok. I was pretty disappointed with KOTOR2. Ah well, to each their own. My fault for trying to play it cerebrally instead of Ox'ing it and making a sword master.

Well, I would have give you a nice run down of Tabula Rasa - but installing it fucked my PC up and barely anything would work.

Oh well.

Zenimax registered URL elderscrollonline.com. They claim it was for avoiding squatters or something. We'll see.

Well, after uninstalling it the first time, everything went back to being ok after I rebooted, but then the next time I rebooted the same thing occured.
3 different virus scans later I found a virus, which I've removed (my local virus scan didn't find it, but trend micro did) and now I don't have too many problems. But everything is still incredibly slow, so it looks like format time might be coming round again shortly before crimbo unless I Can find any more viri.

elder scrolls online is real. Dunno if anyone caught it. We saw a segment on it on tv or something. That should be damned interesting.

As i expected, Gamespot review "destroys" Fury.

It certainly doesn't help that the loading time to get to that area is so long that not only do you have time to make a sandwich, you actually have time to bake the bread you make it with.

lol, that's horrible. No better way to piss off people then pull something like that.

Reminds me of postal 2. "We'll be adding multiplayer later." I buy $50 version at retail.

6 months later they add multiplayer but it's a for-pay expansion. I can get both the full game and the multiplayer add-on for $30. Never mind that initial $50 let you bastards survive while you were writing the multiplayer. Bastards. I won't buy another one of their products it pissed me off so bad.

Something Fresh from the MMo-verse.

Quote:
New PCU Record Reached & Surpassed

On 2007.12.09 at 20:18 GMT, Tranquility's peak concurrent users (PCU) reached an astonishing 41,690, smashing our previous record of 38,242. This is enormously important to us. Not only does it motivate us, it also proves that when it comes to EVE nothing is impossible. Records are made to be broken, and CCP will continue to shatter them. EVE persistently attracts new players to the fold, and we look forward to announcing the next record we break.

Edit: Oh and Pirates of the Burning Sea is in "Open Beta" stage, keys available at Fileplanet, hurry.
