1. HELLGATE: LONDON will be released in EUROPE on November 2nd

2. Subscription: For players with Subscription* accounts ( € 9.99 / £6.99 per month) , Flagship Studios will deliver exciting new ongoing content including new character classes, areas, monsters, items and raid content, new game modes (including Hardcore, Role-Play and PvP mode), and additional character and stash slots. Subscribers can found guilds, select to nominate an officer and will have access to guild and player housing. Other features include in-game email for items, web access to characters and a place in future beta lotteries.

yeah the sub puts me right off this game. Ah well.

huh....I didn't think it was an MMO. Well, that makes me even less likely to try it. Looks like everyone and their mother wants that MMO moolah.

It isn't an MMO still I believe. I think its just going to be some weird mix of a singleplayer game with MMO capabilities. And trying to rip you off with an MMO sub. Bastards. Well, its one of those odd ones where you can play for free, you just have to sit back and watch all the good items/decent functions pass you by. I'm pretty sure I won't get this game tbh, much as I like the look of some of it. I have too many that I'm watching and I know I'm too addicted to MMO's to justify buying a non-MMO

Pevil is right, its not an MMO. In a way, it plays like Guild Wars. Only the otherway around.

As i understand from an earlier interview, if you play solo, you are playing on your own computer. Now when you enter a city or a hub, you are taken to a online hub, where you can see other people and stuff, so you can trade and spam and so on, but also to group up with others.

I will play this game, though i doubt ill pay the sub, because im a story junky

Not just in-game ads but individual tracking. I think in-game ads on a for-pay game are ridiculous.

Hell i dont care. IMO advertising in-game is ineffective anyway, so if companies want to waste money, go ahead.

I come home thinking, well i got into the beta, and download should be done by now. So I fire up the installer and blam, both files corrupted (both 2gb). Damn well ok, ill leave teh computer running for the night, new files will be here tomorrow.

So i log on to TR and Blam, bad patch. Cant log in at all.

Aint it lovly that both betas end by the end of the month

hah....nice. I guess that's why they're beta. :p Doesn't really bode well for the final stability though.

Well, Hellgate London is apparently out as well. I wasn't really looking forward to it, but I think some of you were. Anyone pick it up and have an impression yet?

I got into the last days of Beta. Im gonna wait until its cheap. I was rather disappointed with what i saw in the beta.
