Narbacular Drop - Confusing but fun.
Download this game:

It's completely free, and is the final version - but beware, this game will fuck with your head.
There's plenty of info on the site, but basically it's a strange teleporty type game that I can't describe with words... It's so fucking confusing, yet compelling...
Graphics are way out of date, and I think a modern game is based on this code, but I'm not sure what.
If you've played Prey and been through one of the teleports and gotten dizzy, then play this and your brain will leak out of your ear. It's not any major game, just a small few levels of puzzling confusion, but once you get the hang of it it's fun and easy(ish).
Still... confusing! (though I completed it, so you'll all think I'm retarded or some such)

Heh... graphics could really be better.
Nice idea about the portals, I've not seen that before.
Music I don't like. It's really not passing to the game.
And game itself.. stuff for kids, duh? I said kids, not retarded kids.

Some more:
- The game is unjustifiably slow. I don't know what kind of physics or whatever engine they use, but if the stuff from MP2 works fine without a single mark of hanging, I don't see why this wouldn't. They screwed it probably for lack of knowledge on basic maths.
- Besides, the game is as well very unstable. I can't count how many times I fell from playground to a "no mans land", having to quit and start again, because "restart" was not bringing me to the start of the level.
- Not just unstable, but very badly organized as well. While I was in "no mans land", I was able walk through around the next levels.
* Cheers at the team who had to test this game.

Okay, succeeded finishing. Normally I wouldn't mention, but this number of bugs, including even few game crashes made it an significant success, in determining what causes bugs and avoiding it.
All climbing levels were rather easy, weren't they Mole? You just have to use portals recursively instead of climbing all that crap by yourself.

Had a stab at it as well, but like Gfree says it can be unstable.
Like turtles not appearing, rocks not appearing ... quite annoying really.
I like the concept though.

Yeah, the climbing levels are suitably simple - I'm gonna download some of the custom maps easier. I get the feeling that they might be better than the built ins. And I have to kive my self to make game-breaking elements appear too (the boulders)
But still, it reminds me of the Net Yaroze games, so it's a thumbs up from me Though unstable as it may be
It's nice to have a non combat game though! The problem is the ability to fall in to the game equivalent of an illogical paradox, the ever lasting loop etc.
Still, would be cool to maybe see something like this on Xbox Live Arcade (obviously, a much better quality game)
What I didn't like was the last room...

Yes, this is what I probably forgot to say (or not?). This is an excellent game for developing basic 3D-space orientation skills. Besides, violence rate is quite low so I really think it worth seeing at age 6+.
Anyway, it would be nice if game had other elements besides portal-play.
Damn, I knew girls must have been involved:
