yah it does change :) And yeah, I was confused at how a few parts would work, but none the less, they do :)

EDIT: Bioshock - the missing plasmids.

Read and wonder

I wonder how these 'pressure plasmids' would have worked?

Also This video shows some stuff that doesn't seem to be in the game any more

The teleportation plasmid, the ability to lean around corners and a little sister drinking adam, the Big Daddy's lens is blue the rage plasmid is a gooey stress ball of some sort too.

Kinda sucks that the game didn't end up more like this video. I mean, except for the fact that the player obviously has an infinite health situation going on, it makes the big daddy fights look like more than just the wrench fest I found them to be. Plus, once you've got the upgraded shotty or the chemical weap, there's just no challenge even on hard mode.

Still.

Did any of you who have played bioshock ever feel that it was an RPG? In my view its a fullbred FPS with some minor RPG features.

yea, I agree, it wasn't an RPG. It was an FPS that allowed you to do some upgrades to your character...not all that odd to be honest. Not saying it was a bad game ( it wasn't ) but it's not an RPG.

It's probably a console writer. As far as consoles go, Bioshock was pretty RPG on the scale of non-RPG to RPG-ness. But that's saying more about the lack of true RPG's than Bioshock's genre. Even Mass Effect would sometimes feel stripped down because of it being developed for a console.

Bioshock sure transcended the general action genre though. I hold it in high regard, probably one of the best games I played in the past few years.
