yea...so....I thought the whole episodic thing was supposed to cut the development times. I mean, it's not like they're rebuilding the engine each time, they're just creating content. So where's episode 2?

How am i supposed to play Mass Effect, Hellgate: London, Bioshock, Tabula Rasa and few others at the same time. Nolife here i come.

mmm I'm like that, but that means I'm getting picky. I was gonna get two worlds but fucking hell, they can't even animate a horses leg bending the right way (seriously, look at some screenies on the website, that horse should be put down!) so I have little faith in their 'amazingly choreographed fightscenes'.

Hellgate: London while I think it will be good, it seems too futuristicy for me, so I'll wait til thats budget. Plus D3 is rumoured to be a free MMO to combat GW2 so I'd rather that than Hellgate.

Then we have GW:EN which I'll be getting to get the hall of monuments so I can start gathering stuff for my Pevil descendant in GW2. Which means I won't have time to play anything else anyway.

And tbh most other rpgs/mmorpgs look crap. I have LotRO to fill in when I'm bored with GW and can play that with Mole, plus a ton of console games to finish not to mention stuff like BG, DD and other awesome pc rpgs.

They'd better not make D3 another MMO. I'm really not looking forward to that.

thats the rumours. however i've seen nothing official on it but IF they're true then it will basically be Blizzards thing to 1. combat GW and its freeness and 2. win back people coz by then WoW will be very, very stale.

I think Blizzard is more afraid of Conan than GW, well because guildwars to me is just a singleplayer game with a multiplayer hub built into it. Yer all alone until you go into a town to buy and sell.

And as i understood from E3, Hellgate London is aiming for the same thing, you play a singleplayer game but towns are infact online hubs where you can meet other people. I think they are aiming 50-100 people per hub instance and more if its a large hub.

I said GW2 GW2 is effectively gonna be WoW but free. And better lol

Tabula Rasa is "Q3 2007" according to gamespot...since we're actually in q3 2007, either it's wrong or that sucker is right around the corner.

Huxley is TBA 2007...so no more than 5 months away unless it's delayed, of course.

TR is in closed beta as of May i think. so it will be some time when we see a launch.

Huxley, havent heard a single thing. Conans launch seems to be the most accurate atm.

yea, I agree, Conan seems to have the most accurate info out there. It's probably the MMO I'm most interested in as well. I spent some time watching the TR gameplay videos... I dunno...there's a lot of room in that to have a really boring game.

Crysis is Sept 11. I wonder if that's accidental or by design.

I feel sorry for Crysis fans already. As soon as the game is in a barely playable state EA will prolly pull of the funding as they did with BF2142.

BF2142 is in so poor condition its actually funny.
1. Titan shields wont go down
2. Ground turrets can be cheated somehow so you can turn faster than you should be able to
3. Same with copters
4. Glitching to avoid being hit
5. Ping-meter sure as hell aint showing the correct numbers.
6. You can actually shoot through people
7. Bullets follow you around the corner
8. In MP window when choosing servers, Half empty servers return server is full or connection failed message.
9. Punkbuster random kicks
10. Random disconnects
11. Random server crashes

And thats just to name a few. They have been there since BF2k launched and thats it.

The game still lags like hell, hardly optimized code.

The graphics, however, are really amazing. Be cool if that intro sequence (with the guy in the mushroom hat) was in-game engine stuff.
