That's the closest thing to love I've had in months.
Even though It's just a game, yes I do get whacked a lot in MMO's

I updated the list with Fury. As far as i can tell its a PVP only MMO. Fast action, no grinding (well other than fellow players).
Here is some footage on Gamespot.[/b]

Me and Pev are hitting it up on LotRo at the moment, it's not to bad actually.
I was in the mood for an MMO, and it was LotRo, Van or WoW
Didn't really want WoW, Van pev had played already and LotRo was remaining. I was a bit reluctant at first.
We've done quite a few quests already, gotten to level 13. Some things are cool, Passive abilities gained by completing "deeds" and the musical interface
Will post more when I've played more!

I was in the open beta, its defenatly better than medicore and what was beyond me was the stability, no lag, no crashes. Although it offers different approach to some things, it still has a bit of that "korean grind flavour".
But i guess all MMOs are like that.

well, to each their own I guess. I'm still enjoying Vanguard for now, though it's lost some of its lustre now. Still, I enjoy it. I'm happy there's an mmo with decent crafting again.
Besides that I had to start STALKER over due to some sort of save corrupting bug in the unpatched version. Yay!

Yeah, there's a lot of "kill x amount of these" but at least you get a real reward for it in the end
Lag gets bad some times though, I have to say.

I think alot of the lag people run into is pc based. Since I built my new rig it's not so ad. still crash way too much, though. Crashing and losing 200k xp kinda sucks.

Well as Mole says, LotRo is kinda fun atm, plus Im back into WoW a bit, and also back on an old mmo I love (for the time being at least), UO. So, er... bit busy here
Can't beat the crafting in UO, I'm totally gonna do that first when I get back in

My lag is definatley PC based at the minute on LotRo, Because Pev is on the same connection and she's fine.
Which will lead me to my new PC thread in the coming months.
This time, I'm going to build me a monster.

Shut up! What 2 grand of debt?!
No, but I'm going to start saving for one, I have a financial plan! huzah!
Anyway, LotRo is still going good, being at work having the desire to play it etc etc. Looking forward to doing some more story missions.

That's cool. It's totally not a game for me...it looks too WoW and, tbh, the graphics look like ass. Vanguard is still cool with me, but I'm not sure if it'll keep my attention for more than 6 more months. Unless SOE really steps up to the plate, I'll be jumping ship for Conan and Huxley. Still looking forward to those suckers.
Btw, not sure I mentioned it, but I got through finishing up LoTR + silmarillion not too long ago. There's definetely mad material there for an online game. I'm just afraid it'll be gayified.
BTW, what's the time setting? Right after Lotr? During? Before?
