I went there twice... I spent most of my time in coffee shops. :p But yea, it's a really cool city. And really cold, since I went in the winter both times. That's been like 15 years ago, though. I feel old.

Heh well she looks stoned or drunk indeed. But i know from experience that i often look that way on pictures as well. Even when i'm totally sober. Maybe she was tired but you kept her up the whole time.

Now i start wondering how long it's been since i've been into a coffee shop .. man i'm starting to feel old as well. Stop saying you're old Satis!

And I didn't find Amsterdam cold, I was walking round in february with short sleeve fleece and t-shirt.

And J she might be tired, I think that was the night we didn't get much sleep

Anyway, I remember going in October and freezing my balls off. I was living in Germany at the time, and it was very warm in comparison. Plus the wind off the ocean or whatever. Meh....blame global warming. I'd move there except if the sea level rises then I'd have to snorkel my way to the coffee shops.

As long as enough tourists come here to smoke pot we'll have enough money to raise the dikes a bit more to counter rising sea levels.

Yeah all we need is the rest of the world to legalize soft-drugs. I never really understand foreigners obsession with drugs in Amsterdam by the way. Must be because weed is so common over here I really don't find it very special or cool. Why spend time in a city with so many nice museums like Amsterdam and waste the day stoned?
