Yeah, that's Morrowind for ya...if you can't carry it, you can't carry it. There are some ways around it though, like the teleport spells you mention...if you use those and fiddle around with merchant stats in the editor a bit (increase the amount of gold they have) you can work around this easily. But don't worry, you won't really fall short in cash during the game, it's just mildly annoying, not an actual game problem.
Just put a mark next to the creeper From Wikipedia
He's basically a fence living in an orc crackhouse. Has a lot of cash and good prices. And he's creeping.
Btw, the negative effects of potions/drugs like Mazte etc should linger for a while but disappear in due time. The idea is that you're going "cold turkey". Kinda like in fallout where taking drugs could SERIOUSLY boost your stats but you'd end up as a dopehead and needing to work off the crack blues.

Not gonna happen, according to various sources, oblivion for consoles was too big a success and most console owners tend to buy original copies of the game unlike PC.
But with next gen console that can do almost everything except feed you and brush your teeth im sure it will change.

Mm i talked to that creeper guy, didn't notice i could barter with him, was probably to surprised to see that kind of character there.
I've kinda worked my way through it, it involved several teleportations, a lot of running around and the use of some strength enhancing potions. But it was worth it, got dunno 18k gold or something now. And i got rid of all my cheap rings that i never use.
So Caius his house is a bit cleaner now as well, only dropped a lot of potions on the floor because i just carry them ' just in case ' .. well i'll just get them there if i really need them.
Next possible plan: join a house. But as always i'll run into something else first.

I just teleported to the nearest mages guild with mark and recall, then mage-guild teleported to the Creeper's town. Much easier.
for J: if you are a high-ranking mages guild member they offer teleport services between most mages guilds.
How are you doing anyway? I demand a report!
P.S. derf, awesome avatar. Getting giddy for Fallout 3 too eh?

That dirty plate under the bed just irritates me to doom.
When I was playing, in start I preferred to pass everything on foot. I ended such practice, as it once happened that I had to reach an island on absolute north, traveling from Balmora. As I reached it, my only weapon was almost totally worn out so I had to return back to Balmora to fix it first. Part of that way I had to pass with the weapon in the bag.

It's annoying, yet very important to keep your weapons in tip-tip shape so they deal decent damage. I always carried hammers with me.
Indeed I am.

I'm not doing well in the sense that now school has started again i'm drowning in work (i actually already had tons of work during the holiday but let that pile up ). So i haven't had the chance to play this week at all.
Just joined House of Redoran, so i'm blade, fighters guild, mages guild and house of redoran now. About lvl 15 i think.
I always end up in a town i wasn't planning to go to. Like you go to Ald'Ruhn and 20 minutes later you're in Gnisis to do some errand. And forgot what you were going to do in the first place.
Funny moment: walking up to some 'guy' to start a conversation and suddenly realising (as in getting attacked) that it isn't an NPC running around in a tomb but a vampire.
Funny moment II: same story but with a Daedra something (lord or so?)

I remember one of my experiments.. once I wanted to get really drunk while playing Morrowind and to see where I will end up in the morning. In order not to have fun spoiled, I had set stats of my character on pretty high.
As far as I remember I was first runing many circles around Pelagiad's lake. After that I started swimming there. After I cleaned the lake from all fauna and goods present I decided to jump in an other lake nearby and so I ended up in the sea.
From some reason angry that it wasn't lake but river actually I returned to Pelagiad to protest. But as taunting guards didn't give me enough satisfaction I entered the castle, killed the head-man there (under alcohol: I thought it is a king), took all his clothes off and dressed them. There were other guards too of course.
As I woke up, my character was standing on the cast somewhere on the east, in the last save I made.

lol GFree. That sounds very much like what anyone would do in real life. Except maybe wake up in jail too.

Well, most of it does...I don't usually go ahead and break into a police station to kill the chief, but other than that, sure.
J, good to see you're progressing...even with all the work. Screw the kids man (not literally), Tamriel > reality.
If only Tamriel would have real money.

So they were sort of police?
I thought I cleaned up someone more significant. Gotta install morrowind again.
