I'll be using the terms:
Multiplatform: Xbox/PS2 game at Xbox 360 price, e.g. No updated graphics etc, only difference is usually the gamer score unless otherwise mentioned.
THE GAMES
Condemed - First person shooter/beat'em up hybrid. Lot's of creepy freakin' shit and some pretty brutal fights. Let down by some of the controls not being 100% and not much replay value 8/10
Gun - Western third person shooter with some great action and horseback shooting in it. Let down by the fact it's a multiplatform (read: Xbox game at Xbox 360 price) Plays well, but is short. 7/10
Dead Rising - Capcom arcade style survivor game with up to just over 1000 zombies on scree at any one time. Great hack'n'slash fun with ages of replay value. Loads of weapons and a true to zombie film plot to boot. Great! 9/10
Tony Hawks American Wasteland - Classic style tony hawk game. Multiplatform so again, Xbox game at Xbox 360 price. Dodgey controls let it down, but being a fan of the series that didn't stop me. 6.5/10
Tomb Raider Legends - New tomb raider with a new gameplay style. Very fluid game with some really cool parts. This platforms version was crafted for this platform so you get the updated graphics. VERY SHORT. 7/10
Dead or Alive 4 - A very intricate beat 'em up where you have to be good at the game to be good at the fighting. Reactions and predictions are needed to excell. Great online! Plenty of boobs! Nice graphics and interesting fights. 8/10
Perfect Dark Zero - Pretty good gameplay but aiming is a little funky. Clasic first person shooter, but just a smudge on the shadow of it's N64 original. Good multiplayer. 7/10
Fight Night Round Three: Excellent gameplay and graphics, lot's of sweat! Challenging fights and some nice online play. Looses 1 point for being an EA title. 8/10
Oblivion - You all know what this is like! Only downside is the fairly mid ranged draw distance and a higher lack of detail on the far away textures than on a high end PC. Supports both AA and that Antistrophic (or whatever it is) lighting though, where the PC doesn't. Excellent control system. No multiplayer but it's not made for that so 10/10
Call of Duty 3 - Multiplayer is fantasticly awesome! Not played the single player yet! rating yet to follow.
Call of DUty 2 - Muliplayer and Single player are excellent, controlls perfectly allowing precision sniping. 9/10
Splinter Cell: Double Agent - The 4th in the fantastic splinter cell series. Has a few flaws compared to it's counter parts, the lack of an analogue "light metre" (allowing you to see just how visible to the enemy you are) takes from the precision of the game as it's been replaced with a red/yellow/green system. Single player is great though and multiplayer is pretty fun too. 8/10
Saints Row: GTA Clone with some extra shit such as cool side missions and ragdoll physics. Slower than GTA cars wise. Cool multiplayer modes include "protect the pimp" and "pimp your ride" 8/10
Far Cry Instincts - Semi Multiplatform suffering. Aiming is dodgey so you have to use the dreaded aim aids. Make your own maps for online Xbox live is fun though! 6.5/10
FEAR - not played it but my bro said it's one of the best 360 games he's played. Identical to PC version.
VivaPinata - A fun "sim meets tamagotchi meets RARE's humour" kinda game. Create the ideal world (I.E. a basic version of Zoo Tycoon) for your Pinata's to live in. It's one of those kids games that you play and you say "this isn't made for kids!" 7/10
Test Drive Unlimited - Seamlesly intergrates single player with multiplayer creating an MMOesque world for you to drive in. Racing challenges, Hitchiker challanges and random challenges from other drivers make the game fun. If you turn of the handling aids the game becomes a lot more realistic as the cars physics are powered by the Havok engine. 8/10
Eragon - Plays like the lord of the rings games (Run around with a sworrd etc), but only played it for a few minutes so reserving judgement.
Tony Hawks Project 8 - A new Tony Hawk game with a few extra cool things like nail the trick (use the analogue sticks to control the feet, allowing you to make any trick you want as you go) and better physics with MUCH more realistic animation. 8.5/10
Kameo - Freakin' sweet game. Upskirt action too! Lot's of challenging events, and plenty of secrets to keep you ocupied untill you're bleeding at the eyes. 9.5/10
99 Nights - Hack and slash basic action. Some large battles and plenty of you calling your army completely usless. Kinda like the new Kingdom games. Graphics are ok. 6.5/10
Sonic the Hedgehog - I've been told it get's better later, but it's mostly crappy right now thanks to the TERRIBLE controls. 4/10
Phantasy Star Universe - Arcade style beat/shoot/magic'em up RPG. Pretty good what I've played so far, more for the die hard fans though methinks. £6.99 a month to play online. 7.5/10
Rainbow 6 LA - First Person Shooter. Multiplatform. Dunno, I haven't played it yet.
Ghost Recon Advanced Warfigher - I love it! Third Person Shooter. Great single player campaign but more so the Xbox live fun is immense! Controls wells, Looks good and some nice weapons to aid you. 8.5/10
Burnout Revenge - The single fastest racing game I have ever seen. Immense speeds, awesome crashes and super sweet high def carnage! 9/10
The Scary thing is I think I've missed out quite a few games. Hope that helps ask any questioins you need.
