dude, you turned the gamma down? Serious whitewashing.
Anyway, I'm at school today...maybe we can catch each other later or tomorrow. I'll try to remember to log my MSN on at home.

Just tried it on lowish settings, and it was ok. I will probably get into this when a Realism mod gets released. MTW Realism did wonders, so too RTW Realism.

With assistance from mr. Satis: the clip. It's laggy, especially in the first few moments...but that's what you get with fraps. And no gamma remarks.

well, I figured out why I can't play the demo. It requires the CPU to support SSE2 instructions, which means the following chips are NOT support:
The following CPUs do not support SSE2. (- Will not run Medieval2 Demo)
* AMD Athlon
* AMD Athlon XP / MP
* AMD Duron
* AMD Sempron (Socket A versions)
* Intel Pentium II Xeon
* Intel Pentium III Xeon
* Intel Pentium II
* Intel Pentium III
* Intel Celeron (Slot 1, Socket 370)
* Intel Itanium
* Intel Itanium 2
* Via C3
* Transmeta Crusoe
* IDT Centaurs-Haul Winchip
* and any older CPUs
Good job developers. You are freakin' retards. I'll give everyone a guess what game I won't be buying, probably ever.

The comical turning point. I make my archers fall back into the woods to defend against the rear cavalry attack while the usual meat-grinder last wave holds out a long while in the middle. Suddenly, the enemy general decides to break from the action in middle and charge down one single unit of my knights. Obviously my knight falls, but the rest of the enemy soldiers, having seen such futile stupidity from their general collectively decide to drop their shit and run for home. The end.

Unsurprisingly, Derf's non-nuked pics come out dark for me. I really should get a new monitor. I wish I was rich.

Yeah, you're right. But I can't really afford to atm. When I start working I'll build myself a pimping pc though.
In areas like the Jade Fortress in GW (lots of dark puple 'jade' walls) I see SHIT. I pretty much focus on the position of enemies and other players or on the occasional non-dark wall decoration. I played it with just henchies a few times; felt like a blind man feeling his way out of a maze. But I id finish the mission.

Cool...it's currently at 89% on metacritic...usually a good way to judge overall applause/headshaking.

As a matter of comparison: NWN2 gets a 84% and Dark Messiah 74% (with wildly varying reviews, from superb to poor)
