Oh, fuck yeah! I just did it and even though I got a rating of 'mass murderer', I was disappointed to notice the 'regenerated' crowd people didn't seem to count in my kill rate. Supposdely I only killed 48 people, but that's bull. It was at least 200 :P

Here are some vids of my adventures

hehe..funny...I decided to vid my run of the vineyard. I kinda took a series of short movies and spliced em together so the whole thing wouldn't be so long/huge, but it still ended up around 30MB.

Vineyards Satis Style

It didn't go exactly as planned...I had to kill one of the workers....and then the freakin' barrels missed my target! I was so pissed I had to push him down the stairs and shoot him in the nuts.

You may have to do a save-as, but I didn't think anyone would appreciate me embedding it.

Fraps :)

Downloading your vid Satis..in the meantime, some of my own creations. I did the two Missisippi levels and I high-scored my death count on the first one. 110 casualties! I wiped out the redneck wedding too, but it was only 98 people. Bummer. Still, managed to get ratings like 'terrorist' and 'mass murderer'.

Video clip of me chasing passengers down the hallways with a kitchen knife. :p

EDIT: nice vid Satis :) You definitely are creative in your killing methods, even with your stealth approach. Bizarre that you manage with just one firearm...I usually end each mission with a collection of rifles that would put Charlton Heston to shame. And they're usually all empty. :(

Btw, what's up with 'hiding the M4 at the scene'? I hate it. Cos my notoriety is 100 ppl shoot me at sight, so I could use that baby to blast my way through the first waves of guards, but instead I have to manage with an SMG, a pistol and whatever I pick up. By the time I get to my M4 most opposition is long gone. If my notoriety is 100 anyway I feel I should be able to arrive at the scene holding a fully automatic rifle. :P

I use fraps to capture the video and, in the case of the vid above, I used Ulead Video Studio to stitch the videos together.

lol...Ox, you're insane. Though you have to love the animations and shit....I love slitting people's throats, for instance. :P On the "special" level, you can get hedge clippers!

Haha, I didn't find those...I did find a nailer in the white house level, and used it on several victims. :P I just finished the game, and DUDE, what a climax!! I suspected this would happen (that or 47 and Parchesi would have switched identities to confuse the dudes)...still, the way they did it was really awesome. I wonder how many suckers would have escape-exited when they saw the credits starting to roll. ;)

Last few levels were all very atmospheric. The heaven/hell party was sexy, the white house is the white house and the final level gave me a lot of satisfaction. :)

Needless to say i massacred everyone in the last few levels as well. Fun as it may have been, it's not very realistic. I mean, NO WAY I walk into the white house with nothing but an M4 and a few handguns, kill the entire security staff, the vice-pres, all visitors and escape. Thye could have made it a little bit harder. And it's not like I'm playing on 'easy' either. :P

In most levels I spent more time chasing down lone innocent bystanders to kill than to actually meet my objectives. The Las Vegas level I basically just waited at the front gate until eveyone arrived in their limo and popped a cap in their head. Took like 10 minutes. :( Maybe i'll replay this game in stealthmode some time...but either way, it's been fun. I got some pics and clips!

though the mass murdering style is certainly entertaining, I found stealthing it to be alot more rewarding. Or maybe it's slitting peoples' throats that I really enjoy.

Anyway, in the special level, there's a crypt that has a bunch of gardening implements in it. :p

Oh, and 'normal' is pretty damned easy. Try it on pro...that's more of a challenge. The highest difficulty level is TOUGH. I'm still stuck on the Vineyard level...you HAVE to sneak, and if anyone shoots you, that's pretty much the end.

Myeah, I just hate the limited saves thing. 3 or none at all seems a bit frustrating. But I might just try pro. :) I'll get back to you if I do. Stealthing, this time.

hehe...on normal mode, I found myself rarely using more than 2-3 saves. The 3 save limit on pro didn't make much of a difference to me. The no saves on the hardest level, though...that hurts.

ok, so, I still am loving this game. I wish they'd release an expansion. I did a quick run through of the suburbian mission (A new life). Got a hitman rating. I may be able to get it down to just 1 kill...perhaps.

There's a small bonus clip at the end. :p

The only way i could figure out the suburbia level was to swing open the FBI van doors and silently plug the agents in there (with the aim of taking their uniform).

Same here :) Pulled open the van doors, popopopopop with my silenced silverballer and off I went.

You definitely are more creative than that Satis, cool video! :P Maybe I need to start thinking a bit outside the killing box myself. Although recently I have been trying to only kill the targets, no bystanders. I'll sedate a few dudes or knock their lights out, but I try not to kill.

Was doing the redneck wedding level yesterday, and I got the groom by following a drunk guest into an abandoned building, stealing his clothes and invitation, deploy my sniper rifle, wait for him to step outside and pop! Right in the middle of the dance party. I was so far away and well-hidden, no one knew what hit him. Good stuff. :) The sniper is a real treat once you pimp it a little...much more stable, super silent and non-detectable by metal detectors. :o I typically pack a single silenced Silverballer and the sniper when in stealth mode.

Satis, how the hell are you gonna be able to make only one kill in the suburbia level? :P I mean, you could sedate the trophy wife and all, but how'd you get in?

Btw, bummer: got two crashes while playing hitman yesterday...one a complete pc lockup, the other resulting in a BSOD with 0x00000024. Looked it up and turns out it has to do with HD integrity or something...so, I backuped my important data on DVD, defragged, ran scandisk. I'm trying again tonight, we'll see how it goes.

I successfully made the mission with one kill and one accident. I used the sedation syringe on the FBI agents outside, then used the second sedation syringe on the chick. Unfortuanetly, I sedated her in the pool, so I think she drowned (hence the accident). I then poison syringed the primary target.

looks like I failed to screenshot it, though. :( I may make some more vids. :p I've been playing them at work. heheh
