I always wondered if those phobia women have with spiders and snakes are culturally or biologically. Ie, inborn or 'taught'.

I dunno, the amount of men with phobias (not 'just' fear) for snakes and spiders totally pales in comparison to men. So why do women tend to be more afraid of spiders, snakes, etc.?

Ton answer your question OX. It is both however in my case the snakes are actually most likely a genetic ingrained responce versus behavioral. IE I worked with a trainer to get over the fear and he gave up. Said it was not going to happen. Which is a bit bumming since I dig animals and such So umm yea both my mother and grandmother exhibit similar reactions I do. This may not be all that co hearant - sorry I am ill and on loopy drugs.

So, I was in the supermarket yesterday, and I pass by the butcher's (they have a counter there) and their salad bar. I burst into laughter.
What happened? The company delivering to the butcher's is named...Cock's. What's more, the range of products they had there was called 'Cock's fresh'....it's MEAT! It's freaking hilarious. I mean, if you're gonna internationalize you THINK someone would have mentioned the uhm, giggles their name might cause abroad?
Anyway, so I come home, do a search on the web and...bingo!
www.cocks.be isn't what you think it is...well, it's meat, so maybe it is.
Gotta love it.

Hehe i can't believe either that people wouldn't think of the consequences.
If you wish to have a complete overview of our product line, you can ask us to send you our Cock's brochure.
Requests
For a visit of one of our representatives, a visit to our showroom, general information, the Cock's brochure, ...
so ... anyone interested in that showroom, or you rather want to check out the brochure first
Well, that just made my day, it might be stupid (and juvenile humor, who cares), but i'm happy

hmmm....the james earl jones thing was kinda funny, kinda odd, and kinda way too long. I dunno what to say about the cartoon. Image 'shocked speechless' with a dab of 'want melted cheese and chips'.
