the penalties. lampard (biggest twat of the whole world cup! overrated or what?!) and gerrard missed their penalties, fair enough, you dont expect players of their standing to miss them, but why the hell did carragher have to re-take? the keepeer wasn't ready my arse! carragher was then left with a dilemer, go the same way when the keeper knows which way you are going or swap sides and hope the keeper doesn't suss it out! either way it is an unfair advantage imho. oh, and the ref was a total dick. worst i've seen.

can't be bothered commenting on most of it, but Owen did deserve to be sent off (what a retard, lucky to play at all with his recent injury and then he goes and pisses around like that), and I heard the whistle blow for Carraghers penalty, I think that one should have been allowed. We'd probably still have lost but thats not the point.

IMO england played a boring game. Good on defense but that was all we did. Anytime the ball got near the Portugese goal, there was only ever 1 or 2 players up there to even attempt a shot because the rest were still nancying around in our half.

Everyone knows you have to wait for the whistle to take your penalty, guess nerves got to Carragher. And ironically he got put in especially to take penalties it seemed.
