 A crappy Monday....
....yea, this week is really going to suck. On the way to work today, some fucktard got down to going 15mph...so, I juiced the gas, went around him, let go of the gas...and kept accelerating. My freakin' gas pedal got stuck in a down position. So I stood on my breaks to keep from accelerating too wildly and stomped on my gas until it popped back up again.
So, yea, today started off really horribly.

Joyous man. There was a story like that in the news here a while back. Some guy got stuck at something stupid over 100mph for about 160 miles of motor way.
Or something.

Well i couldn't put my car in first gear once (and getting it in the others was really hard), had to use brutal force to switch gears.
Not funny when you're stuck in traffic and have to ride uphill ..
But your problem sounds pretty dangerous Satis, maybe it is a message indeed that you should just lay in bed the whole week

yea, I really ought to take the week off. I'm just not digging my job right now at all. I just want to stay at home and sleep.

I spent the day in a field most of the time asleep or resting on the ground whilst it was nice and sunny. I love archaeology.

Cars are shit. Everyone should use motorbikes.
I had a pretty hardcore monday.
Got up a 0900, walked to town in the pissy rain, went to the bank, made an international payment, had a chat with the bank local business manager, walked back home, had sandwich (wholemeal, tomatos, ham, mayo, brie, cheddar), went to work at Uni, walked back home, cooked up a curry, did more work at home, watched newsnight, now im here.

Hell yeah! I'm thinking about retaking my CBT this summer and actually getting a bike.
There are so many things I want!
I want to move, I want a Cintiq, I want a bike, I want a pair of boots, I want more games, I want to win the lottery... etc.

Went to a KRS-One concert tonight. For those who don't know (probably all of you), KRS-One is one of the Godfathers of Hip Hop. And it was great, so my monday was very good, even though my bicycle had a flat tire.

Still alot of down sides to motos tho:
Cant carry shit/people
Dodgy in windy/wet/frosty weather
High injury rate
Maintenance (cleaning)
unpleasant/inconvenient in rain/cold
Good side:
Feedback/speed/experience/independence
Low maintenance costs
Easy to drive

And (in my opinion) a damn sight better looking than any car.
Also probably more fun to drive that a car going at the same speeds.
