Post Looking for a windows integrated beats app.
For those of you that don't know what beats are, it's a time measurement that swatch invented a long time back now. 24 hours = 1000 beats.

I'm googling to find an app that can add beats to the windows clock, or put it somewhere on my taskbar or something, to no avail.

Any ideas?

It was used back on the old dreamcast to arange games. Why? Because it's a universal time. 0000 beats here, is 0000 beats in South Africa. I'd like to get back in to that habit.

GMT and UTC are timezones, his thing sounds more like a unit of time measurement.

GMT is a time zone, but it's a startingpoint. Just like 0000 beats is a startingpoint. Instead of Greenwich, it's Biel in Switzerland.
Beat is not in the SI so it sucks by definition.

Here's a link to a Wikipedia article about it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swatch_Internet_Time

Im all for decimalisation, but I doubt it will ever get standardised, simply because we wont be able to shrug off the "second" length of time.

Of course it wont get standardised, it's been out for years, and you guys have never heard of it.

Though satis did say he'd like a metric time scale ;)

All I can find is standalone apps. Hmm.

ooh ooh I might have it

EDIT: Nope. All I want to do is add beats to the windows clock, not have a program running.
