All these studies are so contradictory. If we believed them all, we may as well just roll over and die. There may well be truth in here somewhere, but I think most of it is just a bunch of sensationalist garbage in an attempt to get funding. Climatologists (and whoever else) are probably just using "global warming" as a stepping stone to get what they want (more money).

Earth is getting warmer than it's been in recent history, yes. This can be proben scientifically.

I read an interesting interview with a Dutch scientist a few weeks ago...basically he was saying that we underestimate the 'strength' of the earth, ie that we're not even close to killing her with pollution. And so forth. I know that's a really lame summary but that's what it came down to.
He also criticized the call for bringing back balance to nature...because, he says, there is no such thing.
