yea, but the butterfly theory is nothing to base economic policies off of. :) Or, alternately, since the flap of a butterflly's wings in north dakota will cause a hurricane in Russia, we should kill all butterflies. Or move them to Indiana so the hurricans hit Iran. :p

The greenhouse gases

Water vapor (H2O) causes about 60% of Earth's naturally-occurring greenhouse effect. Other gases influencing the effect include carbon dioxide (CO2) (about 26%), methane (CH4), nitrous oxide (N2O) and ozone (O3) (about 8%).

If we boil it down to credibility, we can say the same about Fox, if we watch the beginning of Fahrenheit 9/11.

Michael Moore has no credibility either. If anyone has an agenda, it's him.

oh, he's a twisted super liberal. His agenda is the whole anti-war, anti-bush, pro-heavy laws thing. All of his "documentaries" are heavily skewed to favor his viewpoint.

Reduced air pollution and increased water evaporation appear to be adding to man-made global warming.

LOL I was just about to post that same article. LMAO seriously, I'm convinced nobody really knows wtf is going on.

Now, clean air & water vapor is the enemy? Well, that cant be right because the word "SUV" isnt in there....

What a bunch of crap. Further proof global [insert word] is BS.

All these studies are so contradictory. If we believed them all, we may as well just roll over and die. There may well be truth in here somewhere, but I think most of it is just a bunch of sensationalist garbage in an attempt to get funding. Climatologists (and whoever else) are probably just using "global warming" as a stepping stone to get what they want (more money).

Earth is getting warmer than it's been in recent history, yes. This can be proben scientifically.

The ice caps are melting because..... that's up for debate. And whether or not it's a normal cycle or not. And whether or not it's going to doom humanity. etc etc etc.

I read an interesting interview with a Dutch scientist a few weeks ago...basically he was saying that we underestimate the 'strength' of the earth, ie that we're not even close to killing her with pollution. And so forth. I know that's a really lame summary but that's what it came down to. :P

He also criticized the call for bringing back balance to nature...because, he says, there is no such thing. Life revolves around disbalance, for if there were such a thing as balance everything would be a status quo. That sounds about logical, heh.

There IS a problem with global warming... it stopped in 1998

For many years now, human-caused climate change has been viewed as a large and urgent problem. In truth, however, the biggest part of the problem is neither environmental nor scientific, but a self-created political fiasco. Consider the simple fact, drawn from the official temperature records of the Climate Research Unit at the University of East Anglia, that for the years 1998-2005 global average temperature did not increase (there was actually a slight decrease, though not at a rate that differs significantly from zero).

Please feel free to read more.
