I never played with major trapping. Sounds like fun.

oh it is. most of the time the aataxes come out of it with a tiny bit of health which is soon sorted by 4 bows Graspers usually just poof straight away.

But when you have 4 rangers putting down 10 - 15 traps each in the same spot, and then drag 3 aataxes through... wowee. A few times they didnt even come out the other side. There was just *whoomph, stab, bleed, die*. hehehe

well, sounds like we may need to do a UW run then. You and Mole can trap...Shiny's got a baby ranger, but that'll be awhile before it's ready for prime time. Ox has his warrior I can bring either a healer, nuker or necro. I think a nuker would be fun, while Ox blocks him.

melee only groups it works great against. Ranged type groups it also works well against, if you have the room to run back far enough. With 3 of us trapping (I'm sure we can get baby shiny up and running fast enough ) thats a good 45 traps per pull, ox can indeed hold them at the traps/pull them there and then if you could nuke the remaining ones it would be wonderful. Had a few times today (mainly against Coldfires) where one would get the traps and the other two would be unharmed, so a nuker would be great in that situation.

Drops were pretty crap, although gold was good.

now the day just needs to go by faster...so it can be the weekend...so I can waste my life playing games. :p

yay....Ox, Pev and I beat the defend Drok mission...which opened up 3 more...defend the Henge of Denravi, Defend North Kryta (I believe), and LDD...last day of something or other. We should hopefully hit those suckers next weekend. A whole portion of the game I didn't even know existed! Well, not until relatively recently, at least.

I have a feeling they didn't exist until the SF update, when the 'Titan Quests' were added. But that's still a couple months back Still, gonna be some nice rewards.

I'll check on GW a few times today, hope to meet you guys there.

Just wanted to make a post about the failed attempt to get together this weekend, hehe. Sorry for not being able to group Satis (and Shiny), but like I said we were doing some FoW...so hard to bail out of that; it's hard enough as it is to get a decent group.


Anyway, if everyone's got the time we should definitely try to pwn as a group next week again!

Both my necro and monk are to the point of the secondary titan missions (ie, after defend drok). I also capped the elite smiting skill I've been wanting with my monk, and built her a superior smiting jacket, so she can now very effectively smite, protect or heal. :p

Shiny's ranger is now up to thunderhammer keep or whatever...the horrible defend mission. We were doing really good last night...then perfected armor showed up and owned us. Blah.

Hehe...good stuff @ monk. And Perfected Armor still gives me the chills. The only (pure) warrior boss that I can recall that ever pwned me...generally I have no trouble at all taking on warriors or bosses of any kind. (because I'm a counterblockpunching melee bastard with a lot of HP and an interrupt for healing sigs)

yea, perfected armor cheats. He has to. Our whole group was pouring everything they had into him, and he just smote us.

Anyway....err...yea, shield of judgement freakin rocks. I love watching creatures beat themselves to death.

ok, well, I'm now officially on vacation for awhile. Till December 12th, at least. Which means....I can game with you euro bastards any day of the week you're feeling froggy. Just throw me a date/time and I'll be there. Well...assuming it's not TOO freakin' early.
