 Budget games
I forgot which thread it was that I used to post budget releases in, so I started a new one instead
Ground Control 2
Commandos 3: Destination Berlin
Sudden Strike 2
Hitman Contracts
Myst IV: Revelation
Age of Empires 2 gold edition (original, extras and expansion)
Are all out on budget series somewhere. Check it out...except for SS2 and AoE2, but I guess someone might like them.

Can we keep this topic spam free.
Exactly what price do we consider budget. I bought dungeon siege2 for 250EEk which is roughly 16€.

16€?! that's cheap...was it a black market copy or something? ;)
And by budget I mean games priced between 5 and 20€/$/£. Preferrably those that are out on a real budget 'line' like some game producers tend to have.

How about free games? Are those considered budget? And I'm not talking about online flash games here.

most of our budget games are Soldout Software: all £4.99. Other ranges are things like MAD games...er.. *thinks what else*... dammit I'll look on tues when I go into work. MAD games are usually 9.99 i think (Tombraider: Angel of Darkness, for example; all the other TR games are on Soldout).

Severance: Blade of Darkness -> 2,5 euro (saw it for 5 as well)
The Temple of Elemental Evil -> 5 euro
Old (and überold) game, but i just wanted to play them once. I remembered severance from the WO-forums i think
And all i heard about TTOEE is that is was buggy, might want to start searching for patches and stuff first.

oooo Severance is an AWESOME game. Great combos, amazing gore (for its time, certainly) and just downright cool. the opening movie is really really cool (dunno why I like it, I just do), but never plays on mine now, so I have to view it from the folder in media player. It was my first 'bought' game for the PC (had loads of 'em free with the pc), I got the demo from a magazine, tried it out, and was just like.... omg gimme!
Completed it with amazon, just gotta do it with the other three now. hehe.

Don't listen to her J...severance is average at best *hasn't played it*
As for the Temple of Elemental Evil...it's actually a very decent game, when properly patched and all. Not anywhere near BG2 and the likes, but ok nevertheless.

Apparently there are boxsets out for the baldur's gate and Icewand dale series for a soft price.
The BG one features BGI, TotSC, BG2 and ToB. So if you never bought them all this might be the time to complete your collection for the ages.
The IWD one has IWD1, HoW, IWD2.
Oh, and there's a hitman collection out as well. Features Hitman I (Codename 47), II (Silent Assassin) and III (Contracts). Maybe something for Satis.
All cost around 15€.

yup, they're out either tomorrow or next friday over here, gonna be £14.99 each or 2 for £25 at GAME, so you can have the whole collection for £25, not bad. Thinking I might buy the BG one, since my copy of BG2 is with an old friend i have no contact with.
Out tomorrow btw is the Total War: Era's pack; not really a 'budget' pack at £29.99 but you get Medieval, Shogun and Rome with all their expansions (including the new Rome: Alexander expansion) plus some exclusive stuff on Medieval 2. I'm gonna get it, was considering getting Rome Gold, and thats the same price with only Rome + Barbarian Invasion in it.

Hehehe, thanks Pev. Does that mean Derf screwed himself over by buying the seperate Medieval gold game?
