haven't seen anything on the Mad King yet, I pop online from time to time in LA but nothing...I assume he'll appear close to when most Americans get off work, so in an hour or three.
And yeah, we got the fundamentals for a great group...a tank (me), nukers/healers (Satis and Shiny), and secondary pwners (Pev and Mole). We could need one more nuker/healer to complete our core line-up tho.

*spoilers* note i haven't been there yet, this is from forums:
Mad King turns up every 3 hours (i.e. 12, 3, 6, 9) in LA. If he tells a joke, /laugh or die. If he says about team spirit, join a party. He picks on people to play rock paper scissors, lose and you die. Then he'll do 'mad king says' and everyone who participates gets a prize (i wont tell you what).

Tomorrow it's time to own Abbadon's mouth. I'll polish my armor.
I think I might go into FoW on my own tonight, just to see what it's like. Not sure if I'll have the guts to spend that one plat over it tho - or if we have the favor of the gods anyway.

heh...I don't think you can bring henches to FoW or UW. Just get in a real human group (if you can) and pay the 1/8th of a plat price of admission. I've done it as a monk a few times. Well, to FoW, not UW. Only went to UW once, and that was by accident.

lol, how'd you end up there by accident? You pass out because of the crack and woke up with 60% DP in UW?
And no favor of the god, i just checked. I'll just sell some stuff and go to bed in a bit then. I know you can't bring henchies, I just wanted to go in and take a peek solo...didn't really aim to farm there on my own.
Were you just suggesting I go along with a group, pay 1/8th, look around and bail? hehe.

heh...don't bail. If your group is worth a shit, you'll make up the money you paid and then some. Even if you don't manage to complete any of the missions.
Bleh...bored of work. Must go home.

Heh, I can imagine that (@ making money)...I was hanging at the temple of late, and some Chinese Money Farmer came up to me with 5 unidentified rare swords. I reckon he got them from FoW or the UW.
You know the type: come up to you and open trade window without talking.

heh....the China gaming sweatshop. Wonderful stuff.
fyi, Shiny is now at Ring of Fire with her mesmer. We've been working it heavily to get it close. So, assuming any absenteeism (*cough*pevmole*cough*) we could probably bring her up to Abaddon's Mouth as well. Mesmernukers are nice to have.

Yes, you could say that. And lol @ the temp you guys work in btw. Sheesh.
I'll be on GW in an hour or two max. Just working of a part of that translation thing...nearing the end.
And oh, I've been in FoW for a bit today It wasn't as hard as I expected tbh. But then, I've only seen a part of it. The leader bailed after someone fucked something up, so we did the rest with 7 ppl...went ok for a while, but got owned in the end. The loot wasn't that awesome either. *cries* And I didn't get a shard * cries more*
hehe..anyway, looked fun.

well, we have beaten the game. We still need to run through Shiny's mesmer, but no biggie there. She's almost done too. Then....SF! And UW and FoW. And 'defend Drok'.

Omg...haha. You really are crazy.
And yeah, we rule....it's good to game with nice ppl who don't aggro stuff all the time guys (only I'm allowed to aggro stuff )...makes GW a cool experience instead of an annoying one when you spend 20 minutes getting a group, then go into a mission have one or two ppl bail or just plain suck ass. So thanks.

Well I ran to ToA this morning. Decided to go afk whilst there for a brief while. When I come back I'm invited to a ranger trapper group. So I'm gonna go into UW for the first time soon! hehehe. Should be fun. Just waiting for one more HoH win to get favour.
edit: If I might say so: TRAPPERS RULE! Group of 4 trappers and a w/r (a dickhead, might I add, who I know from elsewhere and didn't know had the game). We were doing good, til someone took a quest they weren't meant to and the mayor died, sending us back to the 'mortal realm'.
Went back to ToA, switched zones and hooked up with one of the previous team again. Took along 2 more rangers who'd never been in before. Kicked ass in the very first area, then the original ranger had to leave. So I had to lead! Eek. We took the first quest after clearing some of the stairs, and wiped out the graspers no problem. But then I took a different way to the monument somehow, a harder way, and some graspers somehow didn't trigger off our traps but the ataxes did. So we got slaughtered. But all in all, good fun, I LOVE the trapper build now, and got a few new ranger friends now.
