I still have my internet! I'll download it! From my nuclear fallout shelter in Wyoming.

News update for Oblivion: big-name game industry componist Jeremy Soule will provide the score for the game.
Soule has games such as Morrowind, KotOR I, NWN, Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War, Dungeon Siege, Unreal II, Icewind Dale, BG2: Dark Alliance (console), Citizen Kabuto, the Total Annihilation series and Guild Wars under his belt. That's one impressive list, and I know that almost all of them have an excellent soundtrack.
The press release is at

The MP3 with the Oblivion title music is here

Awesome.

Some interesting stuff in there, mostly technical. But here's some quotes:
Especially the last two remarks are interesting...CE with added lore and whatnot? I might definitely be up for that.

Any preliminary costs? Depending on what comes with it, I'll be willing to drop some cashola on it.

Guild wars was like $50, collector's was like $80 or something, and I still got it. :p Cheap bastards. Course, I got some mega-cool voice chat headphones with it...and a CD...and an art book. And glowie hands.

glowie hands? Doesn't that bother you when you try to sleep?
As for the costs...not announced yet. Not surprising with there not being an official release date yet and all. I'm guessing we'll see a release date and info on the CE in the coming week. And hoping.
Amazon.com has the Oblivion CE for Xbox II listed for 69$, which would be 10 bucks more than the 'regular' game.

If this turns out to be true, I'm definitely buying it. You should have seen the manual for Daggerfall, years ago. Now that was manual; it featured eveything, nice pics and layout, small bestiary and all spells and skills. I read that until the booklet's bind gave in...it's still kept somewhere in a drawer. Ah, daggerfall, my sweet love.

lol, you bought a second GW account? Shiny keeps bringing that up...but...she rarely plays. Truth is, she's bored of her characters, but can't bring herself to delete them. I think she wants a mesmer.
