I also like lurking the (insanely fast) Oblivion forum to see all the speculation and flaming. This post for instance:
Put a brief smile on my face. No place for such normality on the TES forums, normally speaking.

This once again proves the statment:
"Arguing on the internet is like special kind of olympics, even if you win, you are still retarded"
Anyway, i have a feeling that oblivion will run just fine on all of our systems, since they did it with morrowind and im fairly certain they'll do it again.
And anyway if this was a fps game, the winner would be he who has less graphic mumbojumbo anyway

I don't know about you, but when I got morrowind it CHUGGED on my system. In fact, if I remember correctly, it chugged on virtually everyone's system. But I think there was a flaw in their graphics engine.

It chugged. If Morrowind didn't hug on your system you were a) on a NASA pc used to process space distances or b) not playing Morrowind but something that looked a lot like it. I.e. Daggerfall.

I think i started playing it when the patches were already released. So on mid/low graphs it was fine, no shadows tho, those were always killers for my older system.

Good news: there are hands-on previews coming out here and there on some of the major gaming sites. That's a sign that it won't be long anymore.... w00tness

Got our new release lists through today. PC section: Oblivion, Nov 25. No mention of 360 stuff yet.

Totally awesome!! I love it that we seem to get the game sooner than the Xbox 360 users, hehe...even if it's only a week earlier or something. Just want bethesda to show some loyalty to the hard core TES fans (the PC gamers, by and large). Thanks Pev. Let's hope it's confirmed soon...or are you definitely totally certain this is it? At GAME, anyway.

Well til we get a game actually in stock, we're never 100% certain (you know the games industry) but it's always a good sign at least. I'd say if it changes, it won't be by much. Not like they'll have any huge company problems (like the makers of Juiced; they went bankrupt and had to sell the game off, delaying it by a year)

I might go through the hassle of actually reserving a copy @ GAME.

I live in the US...I don't need to worry about reserving a copy.
If Fry's doesn't have it, best buy will
if best buy doesn't have it, gamestop will
if gamestop doesn't have it, target will
if target doesn't have it, walmart will
and walmart is 24x7.
