...you have 2 monks and 1 healer hench in your group. Why do I have a funny feeling they're all necessary to keep Oxy alive. :p Anyway...still haven't hooked up with you guys. Just a matter of time, I guess.

lol. strangely enough its usually to keep Mole alive. Him being a "run in and smite ye" monk. With cruddy n00b armour. n00b armour + lvl 12 smite monk = serious pain when surrounded by summits and ice eles.

lol, I'm looking for some good smiting skills. Right now my line up consists of Smite, Bannish, Bane Signet and Symbol Wrath. Seconded by an army of Bone minions, 2 healing spells (Healing breeze and Orison of Healing) and Ressurect.

Any ideas as to what would complement it better, given that we've just gotten through the ice gate.

And here is a ranger pic of me that I like.

some good ones:

Balthazar's Aura
For 10 seconds, foes adjacent to target ally take 10-22 holy damage each second.

do some mad damage, especially against undead

Symbol of Wrath
For 5 seconds, foes in this location take 8-27 holy damage each second.

another great area attack

Balthazar's Spirit
While you maintain this enchantment, target ally gains adrenaline and energy after taking damage. In addition to the initial energy cost, you also lose 1 point of energy regeneration while the enchantment is in effect.

if you're going to get hit alot, this is a great way to take advantage of the hits to make energy

Retribution
While you maintain this enchantment, whenever target ally takes attack damage, this spell deals 19-31% of the damage back to the source. In addition to the initial energy cost, you also lose 1 point of energy regeneration while the enchantment is in effect.

deal damage back to people every time you get hit

Scourge Healing
For 30 seconds, every time target foe is healed, the healer takes 15-67 holy damage.

if someone heals your target, they get tore up.

Zealot's Fire
For 60 seconds, whenever you use a skill on an ally, all foes adjacent to your target are struck for 5-37 fire damage.

if you're healing yourself alot (or anyone else, for that matter) this skill is cool. Works great on tanks.

Thanks for the tips. The first and the last ones you mentioned are particularly interseting. Are any of those elite skills?

Looks like I'm the only person here who's really into warriors aye? :P Regardless, anyone happen to know cool warrior skills? Got me a few already, but never hurts to know more. Preferrably defensive ones.

:P I know where and how to find them, I was just wondering if you had any first-hand experience on cool warrior skills. Bitch!

Still, cool site with nice icons. Looks better than GWguru!

heh, my bad. Anyway...

I don't really like playing my warrior. I beat the game with her (and she's a hammer basher like you, on top of it), but I get alot more fun out of playing my other characters. All I use her for now is running.

Anyway, the elite I used was backbreaker, which is nice. I didn't do much defensive stancing, though. I believe I used some combination of the following:

Irresistible blow (bastards can't dodge it)
staggering blow (put weakness on em so they can't hurt as bad)
backbreaker (elite)
mighty blow

berserker stance (more whacking is good whacking...errr)

endure pain (to keep from dying so much)

sprint
charge - both good running skills, especialyl charge

shields up
watch yourself

healing breeze
mending

I never got a perfect fighting combo worked out. Of course, I was good enough to beat the game, so I probably wasn't doing too horribly. :p

Hehe, k. Thanks for the tips. Charge does look awesome, I'm probably gonne replace sprint with it, eventually. I'm torn between being a tank and a warrior. I mean, I obviously have high HP and AC, but I also seem to be doing the most 'consistent' damage in close combat. I mean, I can't deal the whoppers like monk smiting or elemental pwnage, but I can keep doing a consistent 40-50 damage a hit for a long time.

So, what to do...do I go for ultra defensive stuff or do I invest in damage too? Pev and Mole you can give input too, as it usually with you guys that I'm hanging out with. :) I allow you to give input. Ain't I glorious?

Lol, I can search, normally on GWG, but as ox said, first hand experience ;) seen as I haven't played for a while.

Me and Ox just had a nice game :D We headed for Althea's Ashes quest toward the flame temlpe. Me, (Smiting monk) Ox (Hammer master) and the NPC healer.

I got hit pretty bad a couple of times, and after that, it was all down hill for me. It started to get very long and tense, but we perservered. Thanks to my Death Penalty, I dropped rank from forward to midfielder, healing ox more often in the tought fights, and hoping the enemies would focus on him. Animating bone minions where I could, and triggering Symbol of Wrath when I had the spare energy. Threw in the odd Bane signet too, as it's a cheap hit.

We got to the temple, wiped out every group, then set about the top level, what a fight. It got damned tight, but somehow, I kept ox alive, had to res the healer twice, but all in all, we kicked ass.

Afterward, we headed to Dragons Gullet? Gulch? whichever, and got pwned by about 15-20 hydras with a boss. Got some nice screenies :)

That was awesome. Despite Mole's 50% DP we went on and owned hard. Not to mention the NPC healer who must have had an even worse DP. We wiped the charr and took the ashes. It was totally intense, and we really worked well together, with Mole/healer and my sprint keeping me alive during the process. And the blood well, of course. Blood well for teh win!!!111

Afterwars we took that little trip Mole mentioned, hehe. Everything was looking awesome until we stumbled unto 1000 hydras and a named one. Overly confident as we were we gave it a go, but after 5 seconds it was obvious it wasn't gonna work. :D Those things were insane.
